Your Chance Cube Survival server, with the useful bits included.
Host your Chance Cube Survival server
Host Chance Cube Survival as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and let your group tackle its unpredictable superflat challenge together—without relying on one player’s PC to keep the world running.
- Stay online between sessions: self-hosted worlds disappear when the host logs off.
- Handle sudden chaos: Chance Cube outcomes can briefly push a home PC or casual shared host hard.
- Install and update quickly: one-click updates preserve your configuration changes.
- Keep the challenge moving: CreeperPanel gives you GUI-based world, mod, and config controls.
- Choose Premium for busier groups: useful when several players trigger events at once.
A Compact Pack Built Around Risk
Chance Cube Survival is a focused Minecraft 1.20.1 pack running on Forge 47.2.0. Its 30 mods turn a superflat world into a challenge driven by Chance Cubes, combat, random encounters, and whatever consequences your group unleashes next.
The smaller mod list keeps the pack more approachable than a huge kitchen-sink setup, but the world itself is intentionally unpredictable. Bountiful adds extra goals, while Jade, Just Enough Items, and Xaero’s Minimap help players understand and navigate what remains after somebody presses the metaphorical red button.
It is a good fit for groups that enjoy short-term rivalry, shared survival, or a longer run where every opened cube becomes part of the server’s history.
Better with Other Players
A permanently hosted world changes the rhythm of this pack. Players can progress at different times, prepare safe areas, compare discoveries, and return to see what everyone else has done.
It also avoids the usual self-hosting compromises. The owner does not need to leave Minecraft and the server running all day, expose their home connection, or share desktop performance with every event happening in-game.
Before inviting everyone, agree on whether cubes can be opened near shared builds. Random outcomes are much funnier when they destroy the thing everyone expected them to destroy—not the storage room nobody backed up.
Hosting Considerations for Chance Cube Survival
CPU, memory, and event spikes
A 30-mod Forge pack is relatively compact, but mod count alone does not predict every busy moment. Chance Cube outcomes may create concentrated entity activity, block updates, drops, or combat. Several players triggering cubes together can therefore cause short CPU or tick-time spikes even when ordinary exploration feels light.
For a small private group, start sensibly and watch actual usage. Premium is the stronger choice for an active community, frequent simultaneous cube opening, or a world you intend to keep for a long time. Fast single-core CPU performance usually matters more than simply adding memory without checking the cause of lag.
World and configuration care
Keep the pack’s intended superflat world setup when creating or resetting the map. If you change world settings or pack configuration, record those choices before updating.
World management also matters more here than in an ordinary survival world. Random events can leave damaged terrain, unwanted entities, or a player in a very inconvenient position. CreeperPanel’s player inventory and world tools give you practical ways to recover without turning every mishap into a full restart.
Why Run It with CreeperHost?
Our hybrid VPS platform uses modern Ryzen, EPYC, and Intel Ultra hardware tuned around the demands of modded Minecraft.
Built-in diagnostics help identify tick lag and other performance trouble. On eligible Premium and Pro services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for your approval.
When the problem is stranger than a graph can explain, real CreeperHost staff bring more than 13 years of modded server experience to the conversation.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
