Odds and Ends skyblock is a Minecraft modpack for CreeperHost hosting, built around a Forge 1.16.4 skyblock experience with a gradual, automation-focused progression.

Skyblock progression

This pack starts as a demanding skyblock challenge, where gathering basic materials takes time and planning. Progression opens through the Create mod, cobblestone generation, mob farming, and villager trading. Many vanilla items can be obtained through these systems, giving your island several routes forward instead of relying on a single source.

The cobblestone generator has an important limitation: upgraded netherite does not work with its generator block, and the block produces cobblestone rather than ores. Keeping this restriction in mind is part of planning an efficient island.

Mods for building and automation

Create provides the central automation theme, while Pretty Pipes, Tom’s Simple Storage, Colossal Chests, item collectors, and Jumbo Furnace add tools for moving, storing, and processing materials. Chisels & Bits supports detailed construction, and BridgeMaker, Moving Elevators, Carry On, and TreeChop add practical options for island building and resource gathering.

The pack also includes Easy Villagers and Easy Piglins, Never Needed or Wanted, Harvest Sprites, and Useful Slime. These additions support the pack’s expanded trading, farming, and material progression. JEI helps identify available recipes, while Crafting Mania, Vanilla Extension, Wizard Staff, Customizable Elytra, and other included mods add further variety without changing the pack’s central skyblock focus.
