SCP Project Lockdown is a Minecraft 1.12.2 Forge modpack with CreeperHost hosting for building and exploring a custom SCP facility. It combines science-fiction themes, technical building tools, security features, and SCP-focused content in a normal Minecraft world. Creative mode is the intended way to design the facility, while survival mode remains playable with some features unavailable.
Build an SCP facility
The pack is designed around creating your own facility from the ground up. SecurityCraft, Secret Rooms, Malisis Doors, Elevators, and Forge Multipart provide tools for shaping rooms, entrances, hidden areas, and connected structures. CustomNPCs can help add characters to the setting, while WorldEdit supports large-scale construction and editing.
The SCP Lockdown, SCP Lockdown Heavy Expansion, SCP-XK Scenario, and zeras-SCPs entries provide the central SCP-themed content. These additions place unusual threats and scenarios within the wider Minecraft world, giving your facility a reason to include controlled areas, secure passages, and dedicated containment spaces.
Technology and exploration
The pack includes technical and utility additions such as Extra Utilities 2, Techguns, Chisel, Gravity Gun, and SecurityCraft. Chisel expands decorative building options, while Techguns and Gravity Gun add technological tools for interacting with the world. JEI helps identify available items and recipes during construction and play.
JourneyMap supports navigation, and The One Probe offers information about blocks and objects as you explore. RTG changes world generation, creating a different landscape for your facility and surrounding areas. Patchouli and CraftTweaker are also included among the catalogue entries, adding support for in-game information and customized content.
Creative or survival play
Creative mode gives builders the broadest access to facility design, decorations, security features, and technical components. Survival mode offers a more demanding way to gather materials and develop the site, though the source description notes that some features are missed in this mode. OptiFine is recommended by the pack’s source material for visual presentation, but it is not included.
