Host your Lets Play Origins server

Host Lets Play Origins as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give every origin, dungeon run, and building project a world that stays online between sessions.

  • Install the full Fabric modpack in a few clicks.
  • Avoid tying the world to one player’s PC and home connection.
  • Keep exploration running without a casual host struggling during new chunk generation.
  • Manage mods and configuration through CreeperPanel’s GUI.
  • Choose Premium for an active group exploring in different directions.

What to Expect from Lets Play Origins

Lets Play Origins is a light adventure and exploration pack for Minecraft 1.17.1, built on Fabric. Its 116 mods centre the shared game around character choices, discovery, structures, and a broader range of building and storage options.

Origins, Extra Origins, Origins Classes, and Medieval Origins give players distinct ways to approach the same world. BetterNether, When Dungeons Arise, Repurposed Structures, Sky Villages, and The Bumblezone add reasons to keep travelling. Croptopia, Adorn, Expanded Storage, and Tom’s Storage provide plenty to work on back at base.

That mixture suits a group well: some players can chase loot and landmarks while others build, farm, or organise the mountain of items everyone brings home.

Hosting Considerations for Lets Play Origins

Exploration affects server load

This is not among the largest modpacks, but exploration can still produce short load spikes as the server generates terrain, structures, and modded dimensions. It becomes more noticeable when several players travel in separate directions or move quickly through untouched areas.

Pre-generating the main play area can smooth out busy opening sessions. It also takes time and disk space, so choose a sensible world border rather than generating terrain nobody is likely to visit.

Memory and world growth

A small group may have fairly modest needs, but memory use commonly rises as bases expand, storage fills, and more dimensions remain active. Leave some headroom instead of sizing the server only for its first evening.

World files also grow steadily in exploration packs. Regular backups matter, particularly before pack updates, configuration changes, or attempts to trim unused chunks. For a long-running communal world, Premium is the safer starting range and gives the server room for busier sessions.

Origins-based packs also rely on clients and the server using matching mod and configuration versions. Update everyone together, preserve existing settings, and test important changes before opening the server back up.

Why Run It with CreeperHost?

Our Hybrid VPS platform gives modded Minecraft the native CPU performance it needs when players spread out and generate new terrain.

CreeperPanel handles installation and pack updates while preserving your configuration changes, so maintaining an older Minecraft and Fabric combination is less fiddly. Built-in diagnostics help track down lag when a base, dimension, or exploration session starts misbehaving.

On eligible Premium services, Ask Theo can inspect the current panel and server state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for your approval. When the problem needs a person, our team brings more than 13 years of modded hosting experience to the conversation.

Got questions?

Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.

CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.

Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
