Your Salted Skyblock server, with the useful bits included.
Host your Salted Skyblock server
Host Salted Skyblock as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group an island that keeps running after everyone logs off. Build together, automate together, and leave the spare PC out of it.
- Install the pack in a few clicks, without assembling 133 mods by hand.
- Updates preserve your configuration changes rather than flattening them.
- Home hosting struggles once machines, storage networks, and mob farms stay active.
- Casual shared hosting can buckle under late-game automation and ticking blocks.
- Our Premium range is the sensible starting point for a growing, long-running world.
Salted Skyblock Overview
Salted Skyblock is a Minecraft 1.12.2 Forge pack built around tech-led skyblock progression, with some magic mixed in. Starting with very little makes every shared milestone matter: the first dependable resources, the first power system, and eventually an island packed with machinery.
Its mod selection includes Ex Nihilo Creatio and Ex Compressum for skyblock resource production, alongside Mekanism, Thermal Expansion, Immersive Engineering, NuclearCraft, and Applied Energistics 2 additions. Tinkers’ Construct, Blood Magic, Deep Mob Learning, and Extended Crafting broaden the routes your group can pursue.
With 133 mods, it has enough depth for a proper community world without becoming an everything-and-the-kitchen-sink pack.
Hosting Considerations for Salted Skyblock
Skyblock worlds often generate less terrain than exploration-heavy packs, but that does not automatically make the server light. Performance commonly shifts from world generation to whatever players build on their islands.
Automation adds up
Large storage networks, item pipes, machine chains, mob farms, and constantly running resource systems all ask the server to perform work every tick. A tidy early island may run easily, while several mature bases can place much more pressure on the main server thread.
Keep an eye on machines that run without demand, oversized mob farms, and systems that repeatedly move or scan large numbers of items. Spreading builds across dimensions or distant chunks does not necessarily remove their cost when those areas remain loaded.
Memory and configuration
The pack’s size and older Forge generation generally favour comfortable memory headroom, particularly as the world grows. Too little memory can cause frequent cleanup pauses; assigning excessive memory can also make pauses less predictable. The right setting depends on player activity and how ambitious the builds become.
Premium is our usual recommendation for an active Salted Skyblock group. Start with sensible headroom, then adjust using real server behaviour rather than guesswork. Before changing pack versions or removing mods, take a backup and check that every player is using the matching build.
Why Run Salted Skyblock with CreeperHost?
Our hybrid VPS platform gives modded Minecraft the native CPU performance it needs when automation starts piling up. CreeperPanel also includes tools for investigating lag, so you can identify troublesome chunks, entities, or builds instead of rebooting and hoping.
On eligible Premium services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for your approval. When the problem gets properly strange, our team brings more than 13 years of modded hosting experience to the job.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
