Your Dimension Hopper: The Fall server, with the useful bits included.
Host your Dimension Hopper: The Fall server
Host Dimension Hopper: The Fall as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and let your group tackle its dimension-spanning progression together. Your world stays online between sessions, so nobody has to leave a gaming PC running for everyone else.
- One-click installation gets the correct pack build onto your server.
- A home connection can struggle as players explore different dimensions and generate terrain.
- Hosting and playing on one PC competes for memory and CPU, especially with 373 mods.
- Premium is our recommended range for this large, long-running Forge pack.
- CreeperPanel preserves your configuration changes when applying supported pack updates.
A Dimension-Hopping Progression Pack
Dimension Hopper: The Fall is a large Minecraft 1.12.2 adventure pack built around quests, exploration, technology and progression through numerous dimensions. It runs on Forge 14.23.5.2860 and contains 373 mods.
The pack mixes established machinery and automation from mods such as Immersive Engineering, Actually Additions and Integrated Dynamics with space travel, new realms and staged recipes. Nature’s Aura and Psi add further routes beyond conventional engineering, while tools such as Building Gadgets help ambitious groups turn their increasingly complicated base into something presentable.
This is the kind of pack where a shared world matters: discoveries, factories and quest progress keep accumulating long after the first weekend.
Better When the Whole Group Can Progress
A permanent server lets players explore or build on their own schedule without tying the world to one person’s computer. That is particularly useful when your group splits up across dimensions or works on different branches of the pack.
CreeperPanel gives you GUI-based access to mods and configuration files, making routine changes less awkward than digging through a remote folder tree. You can also manage player inventories and world data from the panel when an expedition ends somewhere it really should not have.
Keeping the server separate from the client also means the host player is not running a large modpack, generating terrain and serving everyone else from the same machine.
Hosting Considerations for Dimension Hopper: The Fall
With 373 Forge mods, this is a heavier pack. Startup commonly takes longer than a smaller kitchen-sink pack, while memory use can rise as bases expand, automation stays loaded and players spread across multiple dimensions. Premium plans are the sensible starting point for most groups.
Terrain generation is often one of the sharper sources of lag in exploration-heavy 1.12.2 packs. Several players entering fresh areas at once can briefly push the server harder than normal base activity. Exploring in smaller groups or pregenerating commonly visited areas can smooth those spikes.
Long-running worlds deserve occasional housekeeping. Chunk loaders, large item networks, unattended machines and accumulated entities can all affect tick time. Add them gradually, avoid loading machinery that serves no current purpose, and investigate recurring lag rather than masking it with repeated restarts.
Back up before pack updates or substantial configuration changes. Older Forge packs can contain tightly connected recipes, scripts and progression rules, so seemingly minor manual mod changes may have wider consequences.
Why Run It with CreeperHost?
Our hybrid VPS platform delivers native CPU performance on hardware chosen for modded Minecraft, helping with demanding ticks and terrain generation.
Built-in diagnostics make it easier to identify troublesome chunks, entities or machines when the world slows down. On eligible Premium services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain what it finds and prepare safe next steps for your approval.
If the server gets properly strange, our team brings more than 13 years of modded hosting experience to the problem.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
