Proximity Chat Modded is a Minecraft 1.12.2 modpack for CreeperHost hosting, built around exploration, multiplayer adventures, magic, technology, and entertaining moments with friends.
Explore a Varied Minecraft World
This pack offers open-ended play without a questline, giving players room to decide what to pursue. Explore dimensions and dangerous locations with mods such as Twilight Forest, Aether, The Beneath, and NetherEx. Waystones and JourneyMap support travel and navigation, while tools such as Building Gadgets, Chisels & Bits, and ArchitectureCraft encourage creative construction.
Talk While You Play
Proximity voice chat is central to the pack’s multiplayer experience. The default keybind is Period, and it can be changed through the Minecraft Controls settings. Talk with nearby friends while exploring, building, gathering materials, or reacting to unexpected moments such as creeper attacks and falls. The setup is designed for relaxed group play and spontaneous interactions rather than a fixed progression path.
Magic, Technology, and Automation
The pack combines multiple play styles. ProjectE, Mystical Agriculture, Reliquary, and Seeds for Wizardry add magical systems and items, while NuclearCraft, Thermal Expansion, RFTools, Actually Additions, and Simple Storage Network support technical progression. Storage Drawers, Iron Chests, Ender Storage, and DankNull provide additional ways to organize gathered materials.
Other included examples include Tinkers’ Construct, Forestry, Draconic Evolution, Extra Utilities 2, Pam’s HarvestCraft, Inventory Pets, Iron Jetpacks, Chance Cubes, and Tombstone. The catalogue’s sample is not a complete mod list, so the full pack should be checked when preparing a matching client and server installation.
CreeperHost Server Management
CreeperPanel provides one-click modpack installation and updates while preserving configuration changes. Built-in tools help manage files, mods, settings, players, inventories, worlds, and backups, with diagnostic features for investigating lag.
