Host your FPSPlus server

Host FPSPlus as a CreeperHost multiplayer server and give your group a lightweight, always-ready Minecraft 1.17 world without leaving somebody’s PC running all day.

  • Quick installation through CreeperPanel
  • No home connection bottleneck when friends join
  • Your world stays online when the usual host logs off
  • Fabric performance mods help keep everyday play responsive
  • Updates can retain your configuration changes

A Lightweight Take on Minecraft 1.17

FPSPlus is a 53-mod Fabric pack built around smoother Minecraft rather than sprawling machinery or complicated progression. It suits groups that want familiar survival, adventure, and hardcore play with interface improvements and performance-focused changes.

Recognisable additions include Lithium, FerriteCore, Krypton, Roughly Enough Items, AppleSkin, Iris, and Entity Culling. Some improve underlying game behaviour, while others refine visuals, menus, tooltips, or client performance.

The catalogue release uses Minecraft 1.17 and Fabric 0.11.6. CreeperPanel makes the initial installation straightforward, so you do not have to assemble the correct release and dependencies by hand.

Hosting Considerations for FPSPlus

FPSPlus is lighter than a large kitchen-sink pack, but optimisation mods do not make server limits disappear. Busy exploration, large animal farms, dense redstone builds, and many loaded chunks can still increase tick time.

Client Mods and Server Mods

Several FPSPlus additions are visual or interface features intended for players’ clients. Iris, menu improvements, culling options, and HUD changes do not all need to run on the server.

Avoid copying the entire client mods folder into a manual server installation. Using the prepared server installation reduces the chance of startup failures caused by client-only files. Players should still use the matching FPSPlus release to avoid version and dependency problems.

Planning for Your Group

A small world with a few regular players should generally be modest by modded Minecraft standards. Requirements rise as the map grows and players spread into separate areas.

Common pressure points include:

  • Several players generating new terrain at once
  • Persistent chunk loading or large entity collections
  • Redstone builds that run continuously
  • Backups competing with active play
  • Mismatched Fabric, mod, or Java versions

Leave some memory headroom rather than assigning every available megabyte to Java. Excessive allocation can sometimes produce longer garbage-collection pauses instead of better performance. If the server slows down, measure tick time and loaded entities before assuming RAM is the only answer.

Why Run FPSPlus with CreeperHost?

Our hybrid VPS platform gives Minecraft native CPU performance on hardware selected for modded servers. That matters most when world generation or busy builds put pressure on the main server tick.

CreeperPanel includes tools for investigating lag, managing the world, and adjusting mods or configuration without turning every change into a file-transfer exercise. If something still behaves strangely, you can reach real support staff backed by more than 13 years of modded Minecraft hosting experience.

Your group plays; nobody has to keep a spare computer humming under a desk.

Got questions?

Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.

CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.

Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
