Your HiveCraft Tech server, with the useful bits included.
Host your HiveCraft Tech server
Host HiveCraft Tech as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group an always-on world for shared factories, exploration, and the occasional machine that becomes far larger than anyone planned.
- Install the pack in a few clicks without assembling its Forge files by hand.
- Keep factories running when the person with the spare PC goes offline.
- Avoid home-network limits as exploration generates more chunks and the world grows.
- Update without overwriting your configuration changes through CreeperPanel.
- Choose Premium for busier, long-running worlds with extensive automation.
A Lighter Technology Pack with Room to Explore
HiveCraft Tech is a Forge 1.18.2 pack containing 42 mods. It keeps the scope approachable while offering several recognisable routes into machinery, storage, tools, building, and adventure.
Create supports mechanical builds and moving contraptions, while Mekanism and Immersive Engineering bring more industrial options. RFTools adds useful technology and storage choices, with Tinkers’ Construct covering custom tools. Beyond the workshop, The Twilight Forest and Treasure2 give groups reasons to leave the base. Farmer’s Delight, Supplementaries, Sophisticated Backpacks, and Artifacts round out everyday play.
That mix works particularly well on a shared server: players can specialise, combine builds, or disappear exploring while somebody else reorganises the factory yet again.
Hosting Considerations for HiveCraft Tech
HiveCraft Tech is relatively compact by modpack standards, but server demand usually changes as the world matures. A fresh world with a small group should be easier to run than a long-established base filled with active machines, storage systems, farms, and Create contraptions.
Automation Adds Up
Technology mods often create many small, continuous tasks for the server. One machine is rarely the problem; large collections of machines, pipes, inventories, entities, and moving structures can gradually increase tick time. Sensible factory layouts and avoiding unnecessary always-active systems help keep things responsive.
Fast single-core CPU performance matters here. Allocating excessive memory is not a substitute for a processor that can keep up with Minecraft’s main server thread.
Exploration Changes the Load
Generating new terrain is commonly more demanding than revisiting existing chunks. Several players travelling in different directions—or exploring another dimension at once—can produce short bursts of lag, particularly while automation continues running back at base.
World size will also increase over time, so regular backups matter. Back up before pack updates, major configuration edits, or large-scale world changes. Keep the server and players on the matching HiveCraft release, Minecraft 1.18.2, and Forge version to avoid connection and mod mismatch problems.
Why Run HiveCraft Tech with CreeperHost?
Our Hybrid VPS platform gives modded Minecraft the native CPU performance it prefers, on modern Ryzen, EPYC, and Intel Ultra hardware. That helps when several players are exploring while established factories continue ticking.
CreeperPanel includes tools for checking lag and managing mods or configuration files without turning every change into a command-line job. On eligible Premium services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain what looks wrong, and prepare safe next steps for your approval. If things get properly strange, real CreeperHost people are still here to help.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
