About The Last Dragon
The Last Dragon is a Minecraft 1.7.10 Forge pack centred on Dragon Ball Z-themed adventure and PvP. It is smaller than many sprawling kitchen-sink packs, while still giving players plenty to build around between fights.
BuildCraft introduces automation and quarries, while Armourer’s Workshop supports detailed character customisation. Archimedes’ Ships Plus adds moving creations, and BiblioCraft and Pam’s HarvestCraft broaden the building and survival side. JourneyMap, Not Enough Items, Waila, and Ore Excavation provide familiar quality-of-life tools.
That mix works well for a shared world: players can develop bases, travel, gather materials, and prepare for combat without the server feeling like a short-lived arena.
Hosting Considerations for The Last Dragon
Minecraft 1.7.10 Forge servers commonly benefit more from strong individual CPU cores than from simply piling on memory. The Last Dragon is not enormous by mod-count standards, but older Forge packs can still develop tick delays when several players explore, operate machinery, or keep distant chunks active at once.
BuildCraft quarries and other automation should be monitored as the world develops. One machine is rarely the problem; many machines spread across permanently loaded areas can become one. Moving vessels and rapid exploration may also expose the server to bursts of chunk loading and generation.
World pregeneration can reduce generation pauses during normal play, though it creates a period of heavier CPU and disk activity while it runs. Schedule it away from busy sessions and keep a backup before starting.
The included client performance mods may improve rendering on players’ computers, but they do not remove server-side tick pressure. For an established group or a public PvP server, we recommend starting in our Premium range for stronger CPU performance and more room to handle a growing world.
Because this is a legacy Forge pack, avoid casually replacing individual mods or libraries. Version mismatches can stop startup or damage a world. Back up first, then test changes before opening the server again.
