An Expert Journey Beyond the Overworld
FictionCraft: Atomic Space is a hardcore, story-driven skyblock pack built for Minecraft 1.12.2 with Forge. Its frozen sci-fi setting leads players through quests, technical progression and space exploration rather than handing over every recipe on day one.
The pack brings together 260 mods, including Advanced Rocketry, Ender IO, Actually Additions and Draconic Evolution. Twilight Forest adds another exploration route, while progression and crafting tools help shape the pack into a connected expert experience.
Multiplayer makes that journey easier to divide and much more entertaining. Your group can split research, construction and resource production without waiting for the person hosting locally to come online.
Hosting Considerations for FictionCraft: Atomic Space
CPU and memory
Large 1.12.2 Forge packs commonly need plenty of memory headroom, but processor speed remains just as important. Machines, item networks, entities and ticking blocks all add work to Minecraft’s main server thread. Assigning excessive memory is not a cure-all either; it can sometimes produce longer garbage-collection pauses.
For a long-running world, we recommend starting within our Premium range. It gives an expert pack room to develop beyond the early game, when bases are still small and automation has not spread everywhere.
Growing worlds and machinery
Performance demands usually rise as players build larger processing lines, keep more chunks active and work across multiple dimensions. Space content and Twilight Forest can also leave a group operating in several places at once.
Good server habits still matter: avoid unnecessary chunk loading, remove abandoned machinery that continues ticking, and investigate recurring lag before it becomes normal. Back up the world before pack updates or substantial configuration changes, particularly with an older Forge generation where mod interactions can be less forgiving.
Why Run It with CreeperHost?
Our Hybrid VPS platform delivers native CPU performance on modern Ryzen, EPYC and Intel Ultra hardware chosen with modded Minecraft in mind.
CreeperPanel includes tools for tracking down lag instead of leaving you to guess which machine or dimension caused it. On eligible Premium services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain what it finds and prepare safe next steps for your approval.
We have hosted large modded communities for over 13 years, and real support staff are available when a complicated expert pack decides to behave like one.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
