Dragon Wars creates a harsher survival experience with no health regeneration, escalating mob difficulty, Bloodmoons, invasion nights, and enemies that may become infernal or champions. Dragons, dungeon creatures, hostile bosses, and powerful vanilla encounters make preparation and equipment important from the beginning.
Loot plays a central role throughout the pack. Discover randomly generated gear, craft high-tier equipment, collect weapons and armour, and improve your character through skills, enchantments, baubles, and progression requirements.
Explore a Changing World
Geographicraft adds larger continents, islands, and climate transitions to world generation. The overworld is filled with landmarks, ruins, towns, castles, dungeons, and other structures to uncover.
Adventurers can travel through the Twilight Forest and The Betweenlands, encounter creatures from Ice and Fire, Grimoire of Gaia, Dungeon Mobs, and Mowzie’s Mobs, or search underground dragon dens for rare rewards. Seasonal changes, Waystones, sleeping bags, and mapping tools add useful options during long expeditions.
Magic, Quests, and Civilization
Electroblob’s Wizardry, Extra Spells, Twilight Spell Packages, and Ancient Spellcraft provide a broad spell-focused path. A quest book offers ongoing objectives, while village dailies provide additional bounties and rewards.
Players can also build a civilization with Ancient Warfare and MineColonies. Farmers, miners, couriers, soldiers, and warehouse systems support a more organised settlement style without taking away from the pack’s emphasis on adventure. Utility features such as JEI, Hwyla, Neat, Treecapitator, tombstones, and portable storage help with everyday play.
