Madhaus mixes punishing survival with adventure, quests, custom events, and a strong nostalgia theme. Its journey stretches across more than 60 dimensions, including worlds inspired by earlier eras of Minecraft, while old and newer modded ideas sit side by side.
That breadth works particularly well with a regular group. Players can divide up dangerous expeditions, compare discoveries, and make progress on the main quest without waiting for one person to start a local server. It is also the sort of pack where shared history matters: ruined expeditions, hard-won bases, and whatever unfortunate event turned the storage room into a crater.

Hosting Considerations for Madhaus
Dimension-heavy packs commonly put pressure on the processor when players generate new terrain. If several people head in different directions or enter separate dimensions, those generation tasks can overlap and cause temporary tick lag. World storage also grows with exploration. Regular backups are important, but keeping too many full copies can consume disk space surprisingly quickly. Decide how much history you actually need and check backup usage as the world matures.
Memory requirements usually rise as players establish larger bases, keep more dimensions active, and interact with complicated modded systems. Leave some headroom rather than allocating every available byte to Java; the server still needs room for garbage collection and the underlying system.
