Your Dragonworld server, with the useful bits included.

Host your Dragonworld server

Host Dragonworld as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group an always-on fantasy world for shared exploration, magic, building, and early engineering—without turning somebody’s PC into the village server rack.

  • Premium is our recommended range for this extra-large pack.
  • One-click installs and updates preserve your configuration changes.
  • Home PCs can buckle during world generation, backups, and busy sessions.
  • Casual hosting often struggles as explored chunks and player bases accumulate.
  • DDoS protection helps keep public and community servers reachable.

Dragonworld Overview

Dragonworld is a large fantasy-focused pack for Minecraft 1.20.1, built on Forge 47.4.0. Its 527 mods mix medieval styling, magical progression, exploration, RPG elements, and a measured amount of technology. It is a pack for groups that want several paths to follow rather than one tightly prescribed route.

Recognisable additions include Blue Skies for wider exploration, Better Archaeology and Bountiful for adventuring, MythicBotany for magic, and Tinkers’ Construct for equipment crafting. Sophisticated Backpacks and Storage Drawers help players control the mountain of loot that naturally follows. The result works particularly well as a shared world: players can specialise, trade discoveries, build settlements, and head out together when something large and unfriendly appears.

Hosting Considerations for Dragonworld

Dragonworld sits firmly in heavyweight modpack territory. Packs of this size commonly need more memory during startup and active play, while strong single-core CPU performance matters when generating terrain, ticking entities, or running machinery. Premium gives the server more breathing room for those demanding moments.

Starting and Exploring the World

The first launch may take longer than a smaller Forge pack because hundreds of mods, recipes, registries, and scripts must initialise. Restarting repeatedly before startup finishes can make troubleshooting harder, so let the process complete and check the console before assuming it has stalled.

Exploration-heavy groups can generate chunks faster than a server can comfortably process them, especially when several players travel in different directions. A world border or controlled chunk pre-generation can smooth out early expeditions. Sensible view and simulation distances also help without making the world feel cramped.

Keeping a Long-Running Server Healthy

As settlements expand, common pressure points include large mob collections, always-loaded chunks, sprawling storage systems, and automation left running around the clock. None of these is automatically a problem, but combining them across several bases can produce tick lag. Monitor changes over time rather than waiting for players to report rubber-banding.

Keep clients and the server on the same Dragonworld release, and take a backup before pack updates or significant configuration changes. Scheduled restarts can clear accumulated memory pressure, but they should not be used to hide a persistent lag source.

Why Run Dragonworld with CreeperHost?

Our hybrid VPS platform delivers native CPU performance on hardware selected for modded Minecraft, helping Dragonworld stay responsive when exploration and busy bases collide.

CreeperPanel includes tools for investigating lag instead of relying on guesswork. On eligible Premium services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for your approval.

When the server gets properly strange, our support team brings more than 13 years of experience hosting large modded communities. You get help from people who understand Forge packs, not a script that stops at “please reinstall.”

Got questions?

Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.

CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.

Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
