- One-click installation removes the usual Forge setup chore.
- Home hosting struggles once automated farms and machines run around the clock.
- Casual hosting can buckle as storage networks and item movement expand.
- Premium plans give long-running worlds useful CPU and memory headroom.
- CreeperPanel makes mods and configuration files easier to manage.
Ferrous Block at a Glance
Ferrous Block is a challenging Minecraft 1.15.2 SkyBlock pack built around 140 quests and a mixture of technology, magic, farming, storage, and progression systems. Version 1.0.32 uses Forge 31.2.30 and includes 182 mods.
Recognisable parts of the pack include Mekanism, Industrial Foregoing, Mystical Agriculture, Botany Pots, Flux Networks, RFTools, Silent Gear, Pretty Pipes, and Storage Drawers. Together, they give your group plenty of ways to turn a small island into a tightly packed production centre.
The quest structure works especially well on a shared server: players can divide jobs, compare approaches, and continue building without relying on one person to open a single-player world.
Hosting Considerations for Ferrous Block
SkyBlock worlds are physically compact, but they are not necessarily light. Players tend to place farms, machines, pipes, storage, and power systems close together. As the island develops, that concentration can create sustained tick pressure even when nobody is exploring new terrain.
Common performance troublemakers include:
- Large numbers of always-active machines
- Fast farms producing more items than storage can accept
- Pipes or transfer systems repeatedly searching for destinations
- Loose entities accumulating around collection points
- Chunk-loaded production continuing while players are elsewhere
Memory matters with a pack of this size, but CPU performance often becomes just as important later. A small group starting fresh may be relatively gentle; an established island filled with Mekanism processing, Mystical Agriculture farms, and connected storage can be much busier. That is why we generally recommend the Premium range for Ferrous Block, particularly when you expect a long-running world.
Keep the server and client pack versions aligned, and take a backup before changing mods or core configuration. Older Forge packs can be less forgiving of mismatched files. CreeperHost updates preserve your configuration changes, helping you avoid rebuilding every tweak after routine pack maintenance.
Why Run Ferrous Block with CreeperHost?
Our hybrid VPS platform delivers the strong native CPU performance that automation-heavy modpacks commonly need. Built-in diagnostics help identify slow dimensions, ticking entities, and other causes when an island starts feeling sticky.
On eligible Premium services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for your approval. If the problem needs a human, our support team brings more than 13 years of experience hosting modded Minecraft communities.
You build the impossible floating factory. We will handle the server behind it.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
