Plunger is a Forge 1.15.2 kitchen-sink pack with 233 mods, mixing technology, magic, building, travel, and adventure rather than forcing everyone down one progression path. Version 1.24 uses Forge 31.2.57.
Your engineers can work with Mekanism, Immersive Engineering, Powah, Refined Storage, and XNet. Mystical Agriculture and Forbidden & Arcanus offer different directions, while TerraForged, Repurposed Structures, Waystones, and Nature’s Compass encourage players to leave the workshop occasionally.
CreeperPanel can install the pack in one click. Pack updates preserve your configuration changes, which is particularly useful once your group has tuned recipes, world settings, or server rules.
Hosting Considerations for Plunger
With more than 200 mods, Plunger should be treated as a heavier, long-running server rather than a lightweight vanilla world. Memory use commonly rises during startup, world generation, and periods when several players are loading different areas.
TerraForged world generation can make unexplored chunks more demanding than already-generated terrain. A group travelling in several directions at once may therefore notice temporary tick slowdowns, especially while machines are also running back at established bases.
Large automation builds deserve some care. Networks built with Mekanism, Refined Storage, XNet, Powah, and similar systems can add steady server work when they contain many machines, importers, exporters, pipes, or constantly active processes. That does not mean avoiding automation; it means building deliberately and investigating unusually busy chunks before they become everyone’s problem.
Keep the client, server, pack version, and Forge build aligned. Older Minecraft packs are less forgiving of casual file swaps, so back up the world before changing mods or updating. If you customise the pack, test changes away from the live world first rather than letting Friday-night Minecraft become Friday-night crash-log reading.
