Your Poetica server, with the useful bits included.
Host your Poetica server
Host Poetica as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group a permanent world for its tougher survival, exploration, and shared progression—without turning someone’s gaming PC into an unpaid server box.
- Premium is our recommended range for this large, 190-mod pack.
- Extensive exploration can quickly outgrow casual hosting and home connections.
- A player’s PC should not need to stay running whenever friends want to join.
- One-click installs and updates preserve your configuration changes.
- CreeperPanel gives you GUI-based mod and config management.
A Survival World Built for a Group
Poetica is an extra-large Forge pack for Minecraft 1.18.2, centred on TerraFirmaCraft and shaped around hardcore survival, adventure, and exploration. It is less about rushing through a checklist and more about building a world your group gradually learns, changes, and inhabits.
Its 190 mods include additions such as Sophisticated Backpacks, Weather2, Xaero’s World Map, Simple Voice Chat, and several TerraFirmaCraft integrations. Harder survival systems sit alongside practical multiplayer features, visual touches, storage, navigation, and Create-related compatibility.
That mix works particularly well on a persistent server:
- Players can specialise and progress at different speeds.
- Shared storage and settlements remain available between sessions.
- Distant expeditions become part of one continuing world.
- Server-side configuration keeps the group’s rules consistent.
Hosting Considerations for Poetica
CPU and memory
Large Forge packs commonly need more memory than ordinary Minecraft, especially during startup and when several players are active in different areas. Poetica also benefits from strong single-thread CPU performance, since world generation, entity activity, weather effects, and ticking systems can overlap.
Actual needs vary with player activity and world age. A quiet settlement is usually easier on the server than several people generating terrain while automation and loaded areas continue ticking. Leave some headroom rather than choosing a plan that only just starts the pack.
For that reason, we recommend beginning with a Premium service and adjusting from real usage. It is a better starting point for a long-running Poetica world than treating the server like a lightweight vanilla instance.
World growth and configuration
Exploration-heavy groups generate chunks quickly. Over time, that means a larger world folder, longer backups, and more terrain for the server to manage. Agreeing on sensible exploration habits—or pregenerating the region you expect to use—can reduce chunk-generation spikes during busy sessions.
Keep an eye on unattended machines, excessive entities, and permanently loaded chunks. These are common causes of slowdown in established modded worlds, regardless of how smoothly the server ran on day one.
Voice chat may also require its server settings and network port to match the pack’s configuration. Our team can help check this if players can join normally but cannot hear one another.
Why Run Poetica with CreeperHost?
Our hybrid VPS platform delivers native CPU performance on hardware selected for modded Minecraft, helping during demanding starts, exploration, and busy group sessions.
CreeperPanel includes tools for investigating lag rather than making you guess which chunk, entity, or mod is causing trouble. On eligible Premium services, Ask Theo can inspect the current panel and server state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for your approval.
When the problem needs a person, our team brings over 13 years of experience hosting modded communities. You play the difficult survival pack; we help keep server administration from becoming the real hardcore mode.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
