Host your Hunting Monsters The Witcher Modpack server

Run Hunting Monsters: The Witcher Modpack as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group a dark fantasy world that stays ready for the next quest, fight, or expedition.

  • One-click installation gets the Forge pack running without manual file juggling.
  • A home PC becomes limiting when exploration and world generation continue for hours.
  • Casual hosting can struggle with Forge startup, busy areas, and several players travelling at once.
  • Configuration-preserving updates help protect your server tweaks.
  • Premium is the sensible starting range for a long-running group world.

A Dark Fantasy Adventure for Your Group

Hunting Monsters is an adventure and RPG pack built around exploration, combat, quests, and multiplayer play. Its darker tone makes it a good fit for groups that want a shared campaign rather than another short-lived survival map.

The pack runs on Minecraft 1.12.2 with Forge. Its current catalogue release is titled Nether Update and Shorter Days. Although 1.12.2 remains a hugely important modded Minecraft version, everyone joining must use the matching pack release and loader setup.

A hosted server also means nobody has to leave their gaming machine running overnight. Players can continue exploring, preparing equipment, or progressing through quests whenever the group is available.

Hosting Considerations for Hunting Monsters

Minecraft 1.12.2 Forge servers often take longer to start than vanilla, particularly after an update or configuration change. Let startup finish before treating a quiet console as a failed launch.

Exploration commonly creates the sharpest performance spikes. New terrain has to be generated and saved while players move through the world, so several people travelling in different directions can be harder on the server than the same group fighting together in an established area. Pregenerating frequently used regions can help larger or more active communities.

Memory needs depend on the pack build, world age, player activity, and any additions you make. Too little memory can cause pauses or crashes, but assigning excessive memory is not a cure for slow world generation or a misbehaving mod. Fast single-core CPU performance remains particularly important for this generation of Minecraft.

Keep regular world backups, especially before pack updates or major config edits. Older Forge packs can also be sensitive to mismatched client mods, altered configs, or the wrong Java setup. Change one thing at a time and test before inviting everyone back.

For a world intended to grow over weeks or months, we recommend the Premium range over treating the server like a lightweight temporary instance.

Why Run It with CreeperHost?

Our hybrid VPS platform uses modern Ryzen, EPYC, and Intel Ultra hardware tuned around the demands of modded Minecraft, including the main-thread performance older Forge servers value.

CreeperPanel includes tools for investigating lag and server behaviour. On eligible Premium and Pro plans, Ask Theo can inspect the current panel and server state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for your approval.

We have spent more than 13 years hosting modded communities, and real CreeperHost people are available when an old Forge pack decides to be particularly old Forge about things.

Got questions?

Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.

CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.

Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
