What to Expect from ATTP

ATTP is an 80-mod pack built around technology, adventure, multiplayer, and PvP. Its mod selection gives players several directions to pursue rather than forcing everyone through one progression path.

Applied Energistics 2, BuildCraft, IndustrialCraft 2, Industrial Foregoing, and RFTools support substantial factory and storage projects. Immersive Railroading and Immersive Vehicles bring transport into the mix, while RFTools Dimensions opens the door to worlds beyond the usual three. SecurityCraft, Trapcraft, Secret Rooms, and explosives make considerably more sense when there are actual neighbours to outwit.

It runs on Minecraft 1.12.2 with Forge 14.23.5.2860.

A World Built for Rival Crews

This pack works well for groups that enjoy building independently, trading resources, or turning industrial progress into friendly conflict. Separate bases help spread activity across the map, while shared rail networks and large construction projects give everyone reasons to interact.

Before opening the gates, agree on rules for PvP, explosives, traps, claimed areas, and destructive machines. Configuration changes are much easier to settle before somebody discovers that your “minor border disagreement” now has a crater.

CreeperPanel’s GUI-based mod and config tools make those server-side adjustments easier without requiring everyone to become a file-management expert.

Hosting Considerations for ATTP

ATTP is not enormous by modern modpack standards, but established 1.12.2 worlds can become demanding. Automated factories, storage networks, loaded dimensions, vehicles, and widespread exploration commonly add more server-side work as a world matures.

Strong single-thread CPU performance matters because much of Minecraft’s main game loop still depends on one busy thread. Our Premium range is the sensible starting point when several players will build machinery or remain active in different areas. Smaller private groups may need less, but leaving headroom usually produces a better experience than sizing only for the first evening.

Keep chunk loading deliberate and avoid leaving unused machines or dimensions active indefinitely. Generate or explore new terrain in stages rather than sending the whole group racing in opposite directions at once. Regular restarts can also help older Forge servers during long sessions.

If performance slips, built-in diagnostics can help distinguish tick-heavy machines, entity build-up, or chunk activity from connection problems. That is more useful than blindly adding memory and hoping the lag gets bored.
