Host your IC2Torial server

Host IC2Torial as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and let everyone learn, build, and complete quests in the same always-on world—without leaving one player’s PC running all week.

  • One-click installation gets the correct Forge pack online quickly.
  • Home hosting struggles when several players explore or run machines together.
  • Casual servers often disappear when their owner logs off or reboots.
  • Config changes are preserved when supported pack updates are installed.
  • Built-in tools help track down lag as your factory grows.

IC2Torial Overview

IC2Torial is a beginner-oriented Korean-language technology pack for Minecraft 1.12.2, built around IndustrialCraft 2 and a guided quest system.

Its 60 mods keep the scope approachable while still offering a proper industrial progression. Better Questing provides direction, while IndustrialCraft 2 and Advanced Solar Panels give players machinery and power systems to develop. JourneyMap, JEI, Iron Backpacks, and Carry On make shared exploration and building less fiddly.

It is a good fit for friends learning classic modded Minecraft together, particularly when experienced players want to help newcomers without simply completing everything for them.

Learning IndustrialCraft Together

A hosted world makes the tutorial format more social. Players can compare machine layouts, divide quest goals, share materials, and recover from the occasional unfortunate wiring decision.

Because the server remains online, the group does not depend on whoever created the world being available. New players can make progress at their own pace, while regulars can maintain shared workshops and organise storage between sessions.

You can also adjust configs through CreeperPanel rather than passing edited files around the group. That is useful when you want to tune a rule or correct a setting without turning server administration into another quest line.

Hosting Considerations for IC2Torial

IC2Torial is smaller than many sprawling 1.12.2 kitchen-sink packs, but mod count alone does not decide performance. Industrial machinery can create steady tick activity, especially when players build many processing lines or leave inefficient systems running continuously.

Concurrent exploration commonly adds short bursts of server load as new terrain generates. Encouraging players to travel together during the early game can keep that more manageable. Large, scattered bases also increase the amount of world data that must be saved and backed up.

For a small learning group, a modest service may be enough initially. Premium is the safer CreeperHost range when you expect several active factories, frequent exploration, or a world intended to run for months. Strong single-core CPU performance usually matters more than simply assigning excessive memory.

Older Forge packs also benefit from sensible Java settings and regular backups. Avoid changing core mods after world creation unless you understand the effect on existing machines, blocks, and quest data.

Why Run IC2Torial with CreeperHost?

Our hybrid VPS platform gives older Forge servers the native CPU performance they tend to prefer, on modern Ryzen, EPYC, and Intel Ultra hardware.

CreeperPanel includes tools for investigating tick lag and identifying troublesome areas when a once-small workshop becomes an industrial estate. If the server gets genuinely odd, our support team brings more than 13 years of modded Minecraft hosting experience to the problem.

You focus on teaching the pack—and deciding who connected the machines incorrectly. We will handle keeping the server ready for the next session.

Got questions?

Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.

CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.

Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
