Host your ice and fire, pure badassery server
Host Ice and Fire, Pure Badassery as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group an always-online world for dragons, dungeons, machinery, storage systems, and increasingly ambitious builds.
- One-click setup installs the correct Minecraft 1.12.2 and Forge pack files.
- Premium is our recommended range for growing worlds and long-running automation.
- Home hosting ties uptime to one player’s PC and internet connection.
- Casual hosting can stumble as exploration, mobs, machines, and dimensions accumulate.
- Updates preserve your configuration changes instead of quietly overwriting them.
A Dangerous World with Serious Technology
This is a mixed adventure and technology pack containing 79 mods. Ice and Fire, Lycanites Mobs, Battle Towers, Roguelike Dungeons, and Doomlike Dungeons give players plenty of reasons to gear up and travel together.
Back at base, Applied Energistics 2, Refined Storage, Mekanism, Thermal Expansion, RFTools, and Flux Networks support increasingly complex factories and storage systems. Tinkers’ Construct adds another route through equipment progression, while Draconic Evolution brings powerful late-game goals.
That combination works especially well in multiplayer: explorers can hunt for structures and creatures while builders keep shared production moving. It also means the server has more to track than a lightweight vanilla-style world.
Hosting Considerations for Ice and Fire, Pure Badassery
Minecraft 1.12.2 packs commonly depend heavily on strong single-core CPU performance. Memory matters, but simply assigning a huge amount does not cure slow ticks caused by oversized mob farms, sprawling automation, or storage systems performing excessive updates.
Exploration can produce short bursts of extra work while new terrain and structures generate. If several players travel in different directions at once, expect more pressure than when everyone stays around an established base. Extra dimensions can add to the save size and should be removed only with care.
As the world matures, watch areas containing:
- Large numbers of creatures or dropped items
- Dense machine networks and always-running farms
- Complex item, power, or fluid transport
- Chunk-loaded bases that keep processing without players nearby
Regular restarts can help older Forge servers clear accumulated memory, but they should not be used to hide a badly behaving build. Keep backups before pack updates or configuration changes, and avoid casually swapping mod versions on an established world. Client and server files must remain matched for players to connect reliably.
For a small new group, requirements may begin modestly. Choose room to grow if players tend to build big, explore constantly, or leave machinery running around the clock.
Why Run It with CreeperHost?
Our hybrid VPS platform gives modded Minecraft the native CPU performance it needs when combat, generation, and automation all happen together.
CreeperPanel includes tools for investigating lag rather than guessing. On eligible Premium and Pro services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for your approval.
When an old Forge pack does something peculiar, you can also reach real people backed by more than 13 years of hosting modded communities. Your group plays; nobody has to keep a spare PC awake under a desk.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
