Host your Butterfrog server
Butterfrog is available for Minecraft server hosting with CreeperHost.
This modpack is installed with the Overwolf/Curseforge (formerly Twitch) application. Manual installs will not work.
As of the year 2021, the twitch Minecraft app has officially moved to Overwolf/Curseforge. Luckily, It works nearly identically to the old Twitch app.
If you don't want to use Curseforge, you can try using MCmulti, though it isn't the best method.
For versions before 1.1.5: It is also highly recommended that you download, and manually insert Custommobspawner 3.11.4in order to prevent a common CustomNPC error.
Setup - 3 Very important steps to follow!:
Make sure "profile options" shows Forge 14.23.5.2855
Recommended to have at least 4gb ram allocation. You do this by clicking the Butterfrog Modpack, then click the gear icon, and navigate to "profile options -> memory settings". Optimal is 5gb+. If you do not change the default memory settings, you will experience what feels like lag when you try to run the modpack.
Optifine can help some players and is recommended, but not required. Some players actually run better without using Optifine.
Modpack description:
The Butterfrog modpack has every player in mind - from the hardy adventurer to the peaceful builder. The idea is to provide endless exploration options while still having a home to return to at the end of the day. You can choose to have that home in a dangerous spot in the wilderness, or some place more fortified (like a colony with NPCs).
Exploration is incentivized with balanced rewards. Not overpowered ones. Players need to work to get treasures, and upgrades

Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
