Your SlashAoA3 server, with the useful bits included.
Host your SlashAoA3 server
Host SlashAoA3 as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group a permanent place to explore, fight, build, and expand without relying on somebody’s spare PC.
- Install the pack in one click, with updates that retain your configuration changes.
- Premium is our recommended range for this 146-mod pack.
- Home connections can struggle when several players explore and generate terrain at once.
- Casual hosts often become unreliable once storage systems, farms, and loaded areas grow.
- Manage mods and configuration files through CreeperPanel rather than digging through folders.
SlashAoA3 at a Glance
SlashAoA3 is an adventure and RPG-focused pack for Minecraft 1.12.2, running on Forge 14.23.5.2815. Advent of Ascension 3 supplies much of its large-scale adventuring character, while combat and progression are supported by additions such as Dynamic Sword Skills and Improvable Skills.
It is not solely about fighting. Applied Energistics 2, Storage Drawers, Tinkers’ Complement, Cyclic, Bonsai Trees, and Ore Excavation give players plenty of room to automate, organise, and improve a shared base. Doomlike Dungeons and JourneyMap also encourage groups to head out rather than spend every evening rearranging storage.
With 146 mods, there is enough here for a long-running world where different players can pursue different goals.
Hosting Considerations for SlashAoA3
SlashAoA3 sits in the heavier end of older Forge packs. Memory matters, but strong single-thread CPU performance is just as important. A server can have plenty of spare RAM and still fall behind when terrain generation, mob activity, automation, and several active players all demand tick time together.
Exploration commonly creates the sharpest load spikes. If your group heads in different directions at once, the server must generate and save more chunks. Pre-generating the main play area can reduce those spikes, while sensible world borders help prevent save files from growing without limit.
As the world matures, watch large storage networks, dense machine areas, mob farms, and permanently loaded chunks. None is automatically a problem, but many ticking systems concentrated in one base can gradually lower server performance. Measure lag before removing mods or guessing at fixes.
Because this is a Minecraft 1.12.2 Forge pack, keep its Java runtime, loader, mods, and configuration files aligned with the pack. Back up the world before manual updates or dependency changes. Older mod stacks are dependable when kept together, but mixing versions can produce crashes that are far less entertaining than anything in a dungeon.
Why Run It with CreeperHost?
Our hybrid VPS platform delivers native CPU performance on modern Ryzen, EPYC, and Intel Ultra hardware, which helps when a busy modded world starts asking difficult questions of the main server thread.
CreeperPanel includes tools for examining lag and managing the world without turning every issue into a file-transfer session. On eligible Premium services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for your approval.
When the cause is genuinely strange, real CreeperHost support staff bring more than 13 years of modded Minecraft hosting experience to the problem.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
