Your God Block server, with the useful bits included.
Host your God Block server
Host God Block as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group an always-on skyblock world for shared quests, ambitious automation, and magical experimentation. We handle the server side, so nobody has to keep a spare PC running under a desk.
- Install God Block in one click and update it without overwriting your config changes.
- Premium plans give long-running automation and expanding worlds more breathing room.
- Home hosting can struggle once machines, storage networks, and extra dimensions accumulate.
- Casual shared servers often become dependent on one player being online to manage them.
- Built-in panel tools make mods, configs, inventories, and worlds easier to manage.
God Block at a Glance
God Block is a Minecraft 1.12.2 Forge skyblock pack combining quests, exploration, technology, and magic across 99 mods. It works well for groups that enjoy building one shared base, dividing up progression, and gradually turning a sparse beginning into something considerably less humble.
Its mod selection includes Astral Sorcery and Thaumcraft for magical progression, alongside Ender IO, Refined Storage, and Storage Drawers for machines and item management. Mystcraft broadens the exploration side, while Chisel and Chisels & Bits give keen builders plenty to do between quest milestones.
That mix makes a persistent server especially worthwhile: projects continue in one shared world, and nobody needs to pass saves around when the group changes direction.
Hosting Considerations for God Block
God Block is not among the largest modpacks, but a developed server can be much busier than a fresh island. Forge 1.12.2 commonly needs a sensible memory allowance for startup and normal play, while good single-core CPU performance matters when the world fills with machines, storage systems, entities, and ticking blocks.
Automation is usually the bigger concern over time. Large processing lines, constantly active farms, and heavily connected storage networks can create more server work than the pack’s mod count alone suggests. Extra dimensions may also increase memory use and save size, particularly when players explore independently.
For that reason, we generally recommend our Premium range for an active God Block group or a world intended to run for months. The right plan still depends on how many players are active and how aggressively they automate.
A few practical habits help:
- Avoid leaving unnecessary machines or farms running continuously.
- Keep an eye on repeatedly loaded areas and abandoned dimensions.
- Restart on a sensible schedule rather than waiting for memory pressure to become visible.
- Investigate tick slowdown early, before adding another wall of machines to the problem.
Why Run God Block with CreeperHost?
Our hybrid VPS platform delivers native CPU performance, backed by modern Ryzen, EPYC, and Intel Ultra hardware chosen with modded Minecraft in mind. That matters when an established base starts asking more from the main server thread.
CreeperPanel includes tools for tracking down lag and managing the world without digging through everything by hand. On eligible Premium services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for your approval.
We have hosted modded Minecraft communities for over 13 years. When an old Forge pack gets temperamental, real CreeperHost people are available to help untangle it.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
