Your MC Space server, with the useful bits included.
Host your MC Space server
Host MC Space as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your crew an always-on base for its map-led space adventure, without leaving somebody’s gaming PC running around the clock.
- Quick setup: Install the pack and its matching Forge build in a few clicks.
- Better than a spare PC: Home connections and background programs can interrupt shared play.
- Room for progression: Casual hosting may struggle as machinery and additional dimensions become busier.
- Safer updates: Pack updates preserve your own configuration changes.
- Built to stay online: DDoS protection helps keep public servers reachable.
Explore MC Space Together
MC Space is a compact Minecraft 1.12.2 pack created for the Minecraft Space video project. It combines technology, exploration and structured map-based play, making it a natural fit for a group that wants a focused campaign rather than a huge kitchen-sink mod collection.
Advanced Rocketry supplies the pack’s recognisable space technology, while JourneyMap helps players navigate and JEI keeps recipes accessible. The smaller mod list makes the pack approachable, but its progression still benefits from a shared world where construction and exploration can continue between sessions.
The pack runs on Forge 14.23.5.2815, so clients and the server need to stay on matching versions.
Hosting Considerations for MC Space
Protect the intended setup
Older Forge packs are usually happiest when their Minecraft, loader, mod and Java versions remain aligned. Updating individual mods without checking dependencies can lead to failed starts or prevent players from joining.
Because MC Space is map-based, treat its world and configuration files as part of the pack rather than interchangeable extras. Back up the server before replacing the map, changing progression-related settings or testing mod updates.
Plan beyond the initial launch
A short mod list does not always mean a trivial server. Advanced Rocketry can introduce machines, multiblock structures and activity across multiple dimensions. As groups progress, these commonly place more pressure on the main server tick than a newly created world does.
Keep an eye on heavily automated bases and anything that leaves areas continually loaded. Spreading large builds out can also help when several players are active at once.
Premium is our recommended range for an active MC Space group. Its stronger CPU headroom gives Forge more breathing room once the world is established and players are running machinery in different places. Smaller private groups may need less, but sizing should reflect how the server will look after weeks of play, not just on launch night.
Why Run MC Space with CreeperHost?
CreeperPanel gives you visual mod and configuration management, so routine changes do not require digging through every server file by hand.
Built-in diagnostics help identify tick lag and other performance trouble. On eligible Premium and Pro services, Ask Theo can inspect the current panel and server state, explain what it finds and prepare safe next steps for you to approve.
When an old Forge pack gets temperamental, you can also talk to real people backed by more than 13 years of hosting modded Minecraft communities. You play and build; we help keep the server from becoming another engineering project.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
