Your Skyworlds server, with the useful bits included.
Host your Skyworlds server
Host Skyworlds as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and let your group build, automate, quest, and explore without relying on one player’s PC staying switched on.
- One-click installation gets Skyworlds running without manual Forge setup.
- Premium is recommended for this large, long-running 1.12.2 pack.
- Home hosting can struggle as automation and loaded chunks multiply.
- Casual servers often hit memory limits once several players build independently.
- CreeperPanel makes mods, configs, worlds, and backups easier to manage.
A Skyblock Built for Long-Term Progression
Skyworlds combines skyblock survival with technology, magic, quests, and adventure. The current Extreme Edition runs on Minecraft 1.12.2 with Forge and includes 239 mods, giving groups plenty of room to divide jobs—or argue cheerfully over whose machine room caused the latest problem.
Recognisable parts of the pack include Thermal Expansion, IndustrialCraft 2, BuildCraft, RFTools, Tinkers’ Construct, Environmental Tech, Storage Drawers, and Apotheosis. Together, they support extensive automation, equipment progression, storage systems, farming, and exploration.
The quest-driven structure works particularly well on a shared server: players can progress at different speeds while contributing materials, machines, and increasingly ambitious floating builds.
Hosting Considerations for Skyworlds
Performance as Your World Grows
A fresh skyblock world is usually less demanding than a heavily explored terrain-based pack. That advantage can fade as players add automated farms, processing lines, storage networks, mob systems, and machines that run continuously.
Minecraft 1.12.2 Forge servers commonly benefit from strong CPU performance more than simply adding memory. Skyworlds is also large enough that it needs sensible memory headroom for startup, active players, and modded systems. Too little can cause long pauses or crashes; assigning excessive memory can create longer garbage-collection pauses instead of fixing the underlying issue.
Our Premium range is the sensible starting point for most groups, especially if you expect separate player bases, substantial automation, or a world that will run for months.
Keeping Tick Time Under Control
The usual troublemakers are enormous item networks, overflowing mob drops, loose item entities, and machines processing faster than their outputs can accept. Chunk loading can compound that by keeping whole production areas active while their owners are offline.
Build with shut-off controls, avoid leaving blocked machines running, and keep automated drops contained. Before pack updates or major configuration changes, take a world backup. Older 1.12.2 packs can have tightly linked mod and recipe configurations, so changing individual mods without testing is rarely worth the gamble.
Why Run Skyworlds with CreeperHost?
Our hybrid VPS platform gives modded Minecraft the native CPU performance it needs when large factories start competing for server ticks. Built-in diagnosis tools help identify lagging dimensions, entities, and chunks rather than leaving you to guess.
On eligible Premium services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain what appears wrong, and prepare safe next steps for your approval. When the server gets properly peculiar, our support team brings more than 13 years of experience hosting modded communities.
You build the sky empire. We’ll keep the server side from becoming another quest chain.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
