Galacticraft Reloaded is a substantial Minecraft 1.12.2 Forge pack containing 209 mods. Space exploration sits at its centre, backed by a broad mix of technology, building, combat, magic, farming, and world exploration.
Mekanism, Thermal Expansion, Immersive Engineering, Industrial Foregoing, and Applied Energistics 2 give groups plenty of machinery and storage projects. Biomes O’ Plenty expands exploration, while Astral Sorcery brings a magical path alongside the engineering. ProjectE and Avaritia support ambitious late-game goals.
It is well matched to a group that wants a shared world to develop over weeks or months rather than a quick weekend run.

Plan for the mature world
A fresh server is not the demanding part. Modded worlds commonly become heavier as players explore in different directions, visit more dimensions, automate production, and leave machines or farms running.
Fast single-thread CPU performance matters for keeping the server tick healthy. Memory needs also tend to rise with world size, active players, and complex bases. Simply assigning excessive memory is not always helpful, so we recommend leaving sensible headroom and watching actual usage rather than guessing.
Chunk loading deserves particular attention. Machines, storage systems, farms, and entities can continue consuming server time when their chunks remain active. Agreeing on sensible limits early is much easier than untangling several enormous bases later.
Keep the pack stable
Minecraft 1.12.2 packs rely on older Forge and mod combinations that are often sensitive to casual changes. Avoid swapping individual mod files or Forge builds without testing first, even when a newer-looking file appears available.
Back up the world before pack updates, configuration edits, or major player migrations. If performance drops, check tick timings and entity counts before assuming the answer is more memory. One runaway farm can cause more trouble than the rest of the pack combined.
