Host your Howdy do we do? server
Howdy do we do? is a Minecraft 1.12.2 Forge modpack, and CreeperHost hosting gives its exploration, magic, and technology-focused gameplay a dependable home for multiplayer adventures.
Explore a Strange New World
This pack places you in a science-fiction adventure shaped by exploration and survival. Its concept follows a scout sent into a parallel reality, awakening in an unfamiliar world with advanced storage, crafting, teleportation, and tools for discovering valuable resources. Learning the landscape matters, with local plants and terrain helping guide early resource gathering.
The pack also encourages adventuring beyond the usual opening routines. Antique Atlas and Xaero’s Minimap support navigation, while RFTools Dimensions offers a personal dimension that can be replaced when you are ready for a new destination. The old Nether, presented as an Adventure dimension, is being updated with necromorphs instead of dragons.
Magic, Machines, and Discovery
Howdy do we do? combines Thaumcraft 6 with a broad selection of mystical systems. Astral Sorcery, Botania, Embers Rekindled, EvilCraft, Psi, Roots, AetherWorks, and related additions create several paths for experimentation. ProjectE, ProjectEX, and Thaumic extensions add further progression options, while the pack’s design aims to keep magic mysterious and avoid a routine opening.
Technology takes a different direction through Immersive Engineering, Immersive Petroleum, Immersive Tech, Ender IO, OpenComputers, RFTools, Actually Additions, and Building Gadgets. Storage, automation, construction, and dimensional tools support long-term projects without removing the pack’s emphasis on exploration. Quality-of-life, interface, building, and utility mods round out the experience.
Multiplayer Features
Preconfigured FTB Utilities ranks let friends receive Player permissions. Players have access to two homes, and the death-point function replaces the usual /back behavior. Quantum storage can protect selected items after death, expand through gameplay, and be shared with friends.
Some ProjectE items are restricted: Energy Collectors, Relays, the Transmutation Tablet, Watch of Flowing Time, and Dark Matter Pedestal cannot be placed, though they remain available as recipe components. These settings help preserve the intended balance between discovery, magic, and engineering.
CreeperHost Tools
CreeperPanel supports one-click modpack installation and updates while preserving your configuration changes. Built-in tools help manage files, mods, settings, players, inventories, worlds, backups, and lag diagnosis. CreeperHost uses game-server hardware selected for strong native CPU performance and stability, with DDoS protection and location choice included.
Real support staff bring experience hosting modded communities since 2011. Eligible Premium and Pro services can also use Ask Theo to inspect the current panel state and prepare safe next steps for approval.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
