Your Zoo Diaries server, with the useful bits included.

Host your Zoo Diaries server

Host Zoo Diaries as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give everyone an always-on place to build exhibits, discover creatures, explore new dimensions, and quietly argue over who left the enclosure open.

  • One-click installation gets the correct pack files in place quickly.
  • A home PC must stay powered, connected, and maintained whenever friends want to play.
  • Casual hosts can stumble when several players generate terrain or maintain large animal collections.
  • Premium is our recommended range for a growing, long-running Zoo Diaries world.
  • Configuration changes can be managed through CreeperPanel without digging through every file manually.

A Shared Zoo With Plenty Beyond the Gates

Zoo Diaries is a 67-mod Minecraft 1.7.10 Forge pack built around animals, exploration, construction, magic, and a useful helping of machinery.

Mo’ Creatures, Exotic Birds, ZooCraft Discoveries, JurassiCraft, and Fossils and Archaeology give your group plenty to find and exhibit. Biomes O’ Plenty and The Twilight Forest make expeditions worthwhile, while Decocraft, Chisel, Carpenter’s Blocks, and MrCrayfish’s Furniture Mod help turn fenced fields into something resembling an actual attraction.

There is also room for bigger projects through BuildCraft, Ender IO, MineFactory Reloaded, and Tinkers’ Construct. That mix works especially well on a shared server: explorers bring discoveries home, builders expand the grounds, and technical players automate the parts everyone else keeps forgetting.

Hosting Considerations for Zoo Diaries

Zoo Diaries is not enormous by modern modpack standards, but older Forge packs have their own habits. They generally benefit more from strong CPU performance, sensible world management, and careful mod compatibility than from simply assigning excessive memory.

Exploration and world generation

Biomes O’ Plenty, The Twilight Forest, and structure-heavy adventure content all create work when players enter fresh terrain. Short slowdowns are more common when several people travel in different directions at once.

For busy groups, generate the main play area ahead of major events or encourage players to explore together. Keep an eye on world size too: years of wandering can make backups slower and consume considerably more storage than the original world.

Creatures, machines, and decoration

Animal-focused worlds can accumulate large numbers of persistent entities. Breeding areas, loaded exhibits, dropped items, and creatures stuck in awkward spaces may gradually affect tick speed. Automated machines and heavily decorated builds can add to that pressure, particularly when concentrated in always-loaded chunks.

Premium is the sensible starting point if your plans include a large public zoo, extensive automation, or a world expected to run for months. Smaller private groups may need less, but leave room for the server to grow.

Keep every player on the same Zoo Diaries release, and back up the world before changing mods or configuration. Minecraft 1.7.10 dependencies can be unforgiving when versions are mixed.

Why Run Zoo Diaries With CreeperHost?

Our hybrid VPS platform delivers native CPU performance on modern Ryzen, EPYC, and Intel Ultra-based liquid-cooled hardware—useful when Forge is juggling new chunks, machines, and a zoo full of moving residents.

Built-in diagnostics help identify lag sources. On eligible Premium and Pro services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for your approval.

We have hosted modded Minecraft communities for more than 13 years. When an old Forge pack gets temperamental, real support staff are here to help untangle it.

Got questions?

Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.

CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.

Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
