Host your Galacticraft Space Race server

Host Galacticraft Space Race as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your crew an always-on launch site for shared exploration, engineering, and off-world adventures.

Why host Galacticraft Space Race on CreeperHost?

  • Install the Forge modpack in a few clicks, without assembling 35 mods by hand.
  • Keep the world running when the owner’s PC is asleep or offline.
  • Avoid home connections struggling with several players exploring new terrain at once.
  • Apply pack updates while preserving your configuration changes.
  • DDoS protection helps keep public and private servers reachable.

Galacticraft Space Race Overview

Galacticraft Space Race is a compact Minecraft 1.12.2 tech and exploration pack built around Galacticraft and ExtraPlanets. It suits groups that want a clear spacefaring theme without starting with an enormous kitchen-sink pack.

Its supporting mods give players plenty to build between launches. Thermal Expansion and Thermal Dynamics cover machinery and item transport, while Refined Storage helps organise growing stockpiles. Tinkers’ Construct, Simply Jetpacks 2, Pam’s HarvestCraft, JourneyMap, and Ender Storage add useful tools for longer-running group play.

With 35 mods, the pack is relatively focused by modded standards. That makes it approachable, but a shared world can still grow into a busy network of bases, machines, storage systems, and explored dimensions.

Hosting Considerations for Galacticraft Space Race

Minecraft 1.12.2 Forge servers usually care more about strong CPU performance than simply having a large memory allocation. This pack starts lighter than many large modpacks, though server demand commonly rises as players spread out and automate their bases.

New terrain and dimension generation can produce short performance spikes, especially when several players explore in different directions. Pre-generating commonly used areas can reduce some of that disruption, while sensible world borders help stop unused regions from expanding indefinitely.

Automation deserves occasional attention too. Large Thermal networks, constantly active mob farms, and heavily queried storage systems can add tick time when built without limits. No single machine is necessarily a problem; it is usually the accumulation of always-running builds across several bases that catches a server out.

Older Forge packs can also be particular about Java versions, mod files, and configuration mismatches. Keep client and server pack versions aligned, back up before changes, and avoid dropping in unrelated mods without testing them first. If your group expands the pack or builds on a large scale, moving to a Premium service gives you more breathing room.

Why Run It with CreeperHost?

Our hybrid VPS platform delivers native CPU performance on modern Ryzen, EPYC, and Intel Ultra-based systems, which matters when Forge’s main server thread gets busy.

CreeperPanel includes tools for tracking down lag. On eligible Premium and Pro services, Ask Theo can inspect the current panel and server state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for you to approve.

We have spent over 13 years hosting modded Minecraft communities, so when an old Forge pack behaves oddly, you can speak to people who understand more than vanilla server settings.

Got questions?

Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.

CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.

Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
