- Avoid leaving a home PC running whenever friends want to play.
- Move growing factories and shared storage off hardware that struggles with constant simulation.
- Choose Premium for stronger performance as the town and its machinery expand.
A Small Name with Plenty Going On
Tiny Town Modpack runs on Minecraft 1.12.2 with Forge and blends several familiar branches of classic modded Minecraft.
Applied Energistics 2 brings networked storage, while Mekanism, Ender IO, Thermal Expansion, and Industrial Foregoing offer plenty of routes into power and automation. Tinkers’ Construct supports custom tool progression, and Blood Magic adds a more arcane project for players who prefer rituals to machines.
Chisel, Chisels & Bits, and Decocraft give builders far more room to shape the town itself. Meanwhile, JourneyMap helps players venture beyond the settlement, and the included superhero-themed mods add a less conventional flavour to group play.
It is a good fit for communities where everyone wants a different job—and nobody agrees on the town planning.
Hosting Considerations for Tiny Town Modpack
With 57 mods, Tiny Town is not among the largest 1.12.2 packs, but its technology and building systems can still create steadily increasing server load.
Plan for the World You Will Build
New chunk generation commonly causes short performance spikes, especially when several players explore in different directions. Generating commonly used areas ahead of time can make normal play smoother and reduce sudden strain during group expeditions.
Long-running machines, item transport, storage networks, and automated farms tend to matter more than the raw mod count. One workshop is rarely troublesome; several loaded bases full of constantly active systems are a different story. Sensible chunk-loading rules and occasional checks for abandoned machinery help keep things tidy.
Highly detailed builds may also be demanding for individual players’ clients, even when the server itself is healthy. Server lag and low client frame rates are separate problems, so it helps to diagnose before removing mods or changing settings.
For an established world or a busy group, we recommend the Premium range. It leaves more breathing room for exploration, automation, and the inevitable basement containing far too many pipes.
Why Run Tiny Town with CreeperHost?
Our hybrid VPS platform delivers native CPU performance on hardware selected for modded Minecraft, helping older Forge packs maintain steady tick speed as worlds become more complex.
CreeperPanel includes tools for investigating lag rather than guessing which machine, dimension, or chunk is causing trouble. On eligible Premium services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for you to approve.
We have hosted modded communities for over 13 years. When an old Forge pack develops an odd dependency problem or a world starts misbehaving, real CreeperHost people are available to help you untangle it.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
