Your Primal Skies server, with the useful bits included.

Host your Primal Skies server

Host Primal Skies as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and let your group build, automate, quest, and experiment together without relying on somebody’s spare PC staying awake.

  • Install the pack in a few clicks and update it without wiping your config changes.
  • Home hosting ties progress to one player’s machine and internet connection.
  • Cheap shared hosting can stumble once machines and storage networks stay loaded.
  • Our hybrid VPS platform delivers the strong CPU performance modded Minecraft needs.
  • DDoS protection helps keep your skybound base reachable when everyone logs in.

Primal Skies at a Glance

Primal Skies is a Forge 1.12.2 skyblock pack built around PrimalCore, with 84 mods spanning quests, technology, magic, building, and exploration. Rather than leaning heavily on the usual skyblock helper mods, it shapes progression through its own selection of recipes and systems.

The pack brings together recognisable favourites including Mekanism, Actually Additions, Botania, Thermal Foundation, Refined Storage, Flux Networks, XNet, and Storage Drawers. Better Questing gives your group direction, while Chisel and Chisels & Bits make the eventual floating factory look slightly less like an accident.

Its relatively focused size makes it approachable, but there is still plenty here for a shared world that develops over weeks or months.

Hosting Considerations for Primal Skies

Automation matters more than empty space

Skyblock worlds usually spend less server time generating ordinary terrain than exploration-heavy packs. That does not mean they remain effortless to run. As players add machine lines, item transport, power networks, storage systems, and always-loaded areas, tick time commonly becomes the more important limit.

Large Refined Storage networks, sprawling automation, and rapid item movement are worth watching as the world matures. Compact builds with sensible routing tend to behave better than hundreds of loosely connected machines and inventories.

Primal Skies may begin comfortably for a small group, but Premium is the safer CreeperHost range when several players will build independently, keep automation running around the clock, or retain a long-running world.

Keep the pack versions together

Minecraft 1.12.2 packs can be particular about their exact Forge, mod, script, and configuration versions. Everyone should use the same Primal Skies release as the server. Adding or updating individual mods without checking compatibility can cause failed starts, missing content, or recipe disagreements.

Take a backup before pack updates or major configuration changes. Regular restarts can also help older modded servers clear accumulated memory and keep long sessions tidy. If performance begins to dip, check tick timings before simply adding more memory; extra RAM cannot fix a machine or storage network consuming too much server time.

Why Run It with CreeperHost?

Our servers use modern Ryzen, EPYC, and Intel Ultra processors chosen with modded Minecraft in mind. That matters once your island becomes a working tangle of machines rather than a lonely tree and a chest.

CreeperPanel includes tools for investigating lag and managing worlds or player inventories. On eligible Premium services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain what appears wrong, and prepare safe next steps for you to approve.

We have hosted large modded communities for over 13 years, and real support staff are available when a 1.12.2 server decides to communicate entirely through stack traces.

Got questions?

Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.

CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.

Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
