Beyond The Skies is a Minecraft 1.12.2 Forge skyblock pack combining quests, technology, magic, resource production, and off-world progression. Its 177 mods give groups plenty of room to specialise rather than having everyone follow the same route.

Recognisable parts of the pack include Botania, Mekanism Generators, RFTools, Mystical Agriculture, Tinkers’ Construct, Sky Resources, and Compact Machines. There are also hundreds of quests to give your server direction and mark shared progress.

Performance as the island grows

Skyblock worlds generate less ordinary terrain than exploration-heavy packs, but mature islands can still become demanding. The usual pressure comes from concentrated automation: item pipes, storage networks, ticking machines, crop farms, mob grinders, and large numbers of dropped items all working in the same few chunks.
