Your Tinker's Modpack server, with the useful bits included.

Host your Tinker's Modpack server

Host Tinker’s Modpack as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give everyone a shared workshop that stays online—even when the usual host has gone to bed.

  • Install the pack in a click, with updates that keep your configuration changes.
  • Avoid spare-PC slowdowns as bases, machines, and loaded chunks accumulate.
  • Keep the world online without relying on one player’s connection or computer.
  • Use panel tools to manage mods, configs, inventories, and worlds.
  • Get help from people who have hosted modded Minecraft for over 13 years.

A Focused Tinkers’ Construct Pack

Tinker’s Modpack is a relatively light Forge pack built around Tinkers’ Construct and its add-ons. It runs on Minecraft 1.12.2 with Forge 14.23.5.2854 and contains 91 mods.

The emphasis is on crafting and improving equipment rather than juggling several unrelated progression systems. Tinkers’ Construct is joined by extensions such as Construct’s Armory, PlusTiC, Tinkers’ Complement, and Tinker I/O. Supporting mods including Natura, Chisel, Chisels & Bits, Iron Chests, Ender Storage, JourneyMap, and JEI add exploration, building, storage, and everyday convenience.

That narrower scope makes it approachable for a small group while still leaving plenty of room for specialised tools, armour, workshops, and ambitious builds.

Built for a Shared Workshop

A permanent server suits this pack particularly well. Players can gather materials, compare tool designs, expand communal smelteries, or head out exploring without needing the same person online to open the world.

It also avoids the usual version mismatch dance. Everyone connects to the same server installation, while CreeperPanel gives you GUI controls for mods and configuration files. When the pack is updated, our installer preserves your own config changes instead of casually flattening them.

For competitive groups, separate bases and shared resource areas can also make the pack’s combat and equipment choices more meaningful.

Hosting Considerations for Tinker’s Modpack

This is lighter than many sprawling 1.12.2 kitchen-sink packs, but modded servers rarely stay as light as their first day. World generation, large bases, mob farms, storage systems, and permanently loaded chunks commonly become more important than the raw mod count.

A few practical habits help:

  • Pre-generate or explore new terrain gradually if several players are travelling in different directions.
  • Review chunk loaders periodically so abandoned builds are not running around the clock.
  • Keep entity-heavy farms under control, especially near the main base.
  • Restart the server on a sensible schedule to keep older Forge sessions tidy.
  • Test mod or configuration changes before applying them to the main world.

A small group with restrained builds may need modest memory. Larger communities or long-running worlds benefit from more headroom, so Premium is our usual recommendation when you expect constant activity, extensive exploration, or elaborate shared bases.

Why CreeperHost?

Our hybrid VPS platform gives modded Minecraft the native CPU performance it needs, running on modern Ryzen, EPYC, and Intel Ultra-based systems.

CreeperPanel includes tools for investigating lag rather than leaving you to guess. On eligible Premium and Pro services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for your approval.

When an old Forge pack does something wonderfully strange, real CreeperHost support staff are still here to help.

Got questions?

Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.

CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.

Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
