Your Ragnamod IV server, with the useful bits included.
Host your Ragnamod IV server
Host Ragnamod IV as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group an always-on base for shared technology, magic, exploration, and ambitious late-game builds.
- One-click installation gets the correct pack files in place quickly.
- Home hosting struggles once exploration and automation compete for CPU time.
- Casual hosts can become awkward when worlds, backups, and updates need attention.
- Our Hybrid VPS platform delivers native CPU performance for steadier server ticks.
- Premium is our recommended range for a growing or long-running world.
Ragnamod IV Overview
Ragnamod IV is a substantial Minecraft 1.12.2 pack built on Forge, with 153 mods spanning machinery, magic, storage, construction, and additional dimensions.
Its recognisable tech lineup includes Applied Energistics 2, Mekanism, Thermal Expansion, IndustrialCraft 2, Extreme Reactors, and RFTools. Astral Sorcery, AbyssalCraft, Roots, and ProjectE bring very different magical paths, while Draconic Evolution and Avaritia give established groups larger projects to chase.
That mix works particularly well for multiplayer. Players can specialise, trade materials, combine production chains, or disappear into separate projects before returning with something wonderfully overengineered. CreeperPanel also gives you GUI-based access to mods and configuration files without making every adjustment a file-transfer exercise.
Hosting Considerations for Ragnamod IV
Ragnamod IV commonly becomes more demanding as the world matures. Early play may feel relatively light, but explored dimensions, automated factories, storage networks, mob systems, and machines running across loaded chunks can gradually add tick load.
CPU performance matters because many 1.12.2 modded tasks still depend heavily on the main server thread. Memory needs also tend to rise with player activity, world size, and the number of dimensions in use. That is why we normally point active groups towards Premium rather than treating the smallest plan as the default.
Busy servers benefit from a little housekeeping:
- Avoid leaving large numbers of machines, farms, or entities active without purpose.
- Keep chunk-loading deliberate, especially across multiple dimensions.
- Investigate sudden tick drops before adding more automation to the same area.
- Take a backup before changing pack versions or making broad configuration edits.
Older Forge packs also expect their server build, mod versions, and Java runtime to agree. One mismatched file can stop startup or create difficult-to-read errors. CreeperHost’s installer handles the initial pack setup, while updates preserve your configuration changes rather than casually replacing them.
Why Run Ragnamod IV with CreeperHost?
We have spent over 13 years hosting modded Minecraft communities, including the peculiar problems that appear only after months of automation and exploration.
Built-in diagnostic tools help track down lag when a base starts misbehaving. On eligible Premium and Pro services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for you to approve.
DDoS protection and a game-focused network keep your shared world reachable, while real CreeperHost people are available when old-school Forge decides to be old-school Forge.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
