Armageddon: Final Days is a hardcore pack pitting players against the worst that mod authors have to offer. It is a low-magic (AbyssalCraft), low-tech (Immersive Engineering) pack that has been significantly tweaked to create an integrated experience. Milestones are gated behind one another to create a story-line from awakening to the final task that ends the nightmare. A quest-line guides the players to this finale while making them aware of recipe changes. Multi-player is encouraged.
Disclaimer: This pack is still in beta. It will be updated frequently over the next few weeks as changes are made. Any changes that affect world gen will not be made, but updates to the questbook, item recipes, mob spawning, and other resources should be expected.
