Your Crainer Craft 2 server, with the useful bits included.
Host your Crainer Craft 2 server
Host Crainer Craft 2 as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group a world where boss fights, machines, magic, and questionable experiments can carry on without somebody leaving a PC running all weekend.
- One-click installation gets the correct pack onto your server quickly.
- Premium is our recommended range for this larger, long-running modpack.
- Home hosting struggles once exploration and machinery continue around the clock.
- Casual hosting can buckle when several dimensions or busy bases are active.
- Updates preserve your configuration changes instead of casually overwriting them.
A Big 1.7.10 Adventure
Crainer Craft 2 combines exploration and RPG progression with a broad selection of technology and magic. Its 92 mods include OreSpawn encounters, new dimensions, dungeon-style exploration, and plenty of ways for players to build elaborate shared bases.
The technology side includes Applied Energistics 2, Ender IO, Mekanism, MineFactory Reloaded, RFTools, and Thermal Expansion. Thaumcraft adds magical progression, while The Erebus, Chocolate Quest, and Roguelike Dungeons give groups reasons to leave home and find trouble.
That mixture works particularly well on a permanent server: some players can automate production while others explore, prepare for bosses, decorate, or accidentally bring something unpleasant back to base.
Hosting Considerations for Crainer Craft 2
Crainer Craft 2 runs on Minecraft 1.7.10 with Forge 10.13.4.1614. Legacy packs are often happiest when their tested mod and Java setup is left intact. Updating individual mods without checking dependencies can turn a working world into an evening of missing blocks and startup errors.
New terrain and dimensions commonly cause the sharpest performance spikes, particularly when several players travel in different directions. Pre-generating commonly used areas can reduce those spikes, although dimension hopping will still create fresh terrain over time.
Large automation networks, storage systems, mobs, dropped items, and chunk loaders can gradually increase server load. Applied Energistics networks and factory builds are not inherently a problem, but sprawling bases benefit from sensible layouts and occasional checks for machines or entities running without purpose.
Keep regular world backups before pack updates, configuration changes, or removing mods. For an established group, test changes before applying them to the main world. Start with enough headroom for exploration and growth rather than sizing only for the first quiet evening.
Why Run It with CreeperHost?
Our hybrid VPS platform delivers native CPU performance on modern Ryzen, EPYC, and Intel Ultra-based liquid-cooled hardware. That matters when an older Forge server hits a busy tick during world generation or factory processing.
CreeperPanel includes tools for tracking down lag rather than guessing which machine, dimension, or mob farm is responsible. On eligible Premium and Pro services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for your approval.
When the pack gets properly weird, our support team brings more than 13 years of experience hosting modded Minecraft communities.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
