Colonial Builders brings a grounded mix of colony building, exploration, technology, and magic to CreeperHost hosting. Set in Minecraft 1.11.2 with Forge, this pack follows a new settlement rising after the old world fell to corruption. Gather materials, establish a home, and shape a new community in a world that keeps much of vanilla Minecraft’s familiar feel.

Build a New Colony

MineColonies places settlement building at the heart of the experience, giving your new world a clear sense of purpose as you develop a home for settlers. Better Builders Wands, Malisis Doors, Malisis Switches, Platforms, and related building tools support practical construction projects, while Iron Chests, Storage Drawers, Backpacks, and Refined Storage help keep gathered materials organised.

The pack encourages steady progress rather than replacing Minecraft’s foundations. Farming and food production receive extra variety through Forestry and Pam’s HarvestCraft, while tools such as VeinMiner and FastLeafDecay make everyday gathering more convenient.

Explore, Discover, and Progress

Colonial Builders adds reasons to travel beyond your first settlement. Roguelike Dungeons offers dangerous places to explore, and JourneyMap, Hwyla, Just Enough Items, and Just Enough Resources help you understand the world, recipes, and available materials as you advance.

Waystones and Nether Portal Fix support travel between established locations. Hardcore Darkness, Dynamic Surroundings, Sound Filters, and OceanFloor contribute to a more atmospheric journey through caves, forests, oceans, and other areas.

Technology and Magic

Scientific progression is represented by mods including Actually Additions, Environmental Tech, Deep Resonance, Integrated Dynamics, Integrated Tunnels, and Extra Utilities 2. These provide a range of technical systems to investigate as your settlement develops.

For a different style of progression, Roots 2 and Mystical Agriculture add magical and resource-focused paths. The combination lets builders, explorers, engineers, farmers, and mages find their own direction without losing the pack’s mostly vanilla character.
