Your Pyramid Challenge Reborn server, with the useful bits included.

Host your Pyramid Challenge Reborn server

Host Pyramid Challenge Reborn as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and tackle its map-based progression together. Your world stays online between sessions, so the next objective does not depend on one player leaving their PC running.

  • One-click installation gets the pack and challenge map ready quickly.
  • Your home computer does not need to stay powered on for everyone else.
  • Growing automation and chunk loading can overwhelm casual shared hosting.
  • Modded-optimised processors help machinery-heavy bases keep ticking smoothly.
  • Panel tools make world, mod, and configuration changes less painful.

A Compact Technical Challenge

Pyramid Challenge Reborn brings the pyramid challenge format to Minecraft 1.12.2, combining structured objectives with a focused selection of technology and progression mods. Its 156 mods make it smaller than many kitchen-sink packs, but there is still plenty happening behind the scenes.

IndustrialCraft 2, BuildCraft, Logistics Pipes, Forestry, ProjectRed and ProjectEX give your group several interconnected systems to master. The defined map and quest-led format also make it a good choice when you want a shared goal rather than another open-ended world that quietly becomes a chest-sorting simulator.

CreeperPanel can install the pack in one click. When updates are available, our updater preserves your configuration changes instead of casually flattening the settings you have tuned.

Hosting Considerations for Pyramid Challenge Reborn

CPU and memory

This is a relatively light modpack by 1.12.2 standards, so a small group will not normally need the sort of plan chosen for enormous modern packs. Even so, mod count alone does not determine performance. Large item networks, dense machine rooms and frequently active chunks can gradually add more server-tick work.

Minecraft 1.12.2 generally benefits from strong individual CPU cores. That matters once several automation systems are running at the same time, even when memory use remains reasonable. Our Ryzen, EPYC and Intel Ultra-based liquid-cooled machines are selected with this kind of modded server behaviour in mind.

Keep automation under control

Chunk loaders deserve attention. ChickenChunks can keep machinery working without a player nearby, which is handy until several people leave entire production areas permanently active. Agreeing on sensible chunk-loading limits can prevent background factories from consuming most of the tick time.

Logistics Pipes, BuildCraft transport systems and ProjectRed contraptions are best expanded with a little care. If performance starts slipping, inspect active machinery and loaded chunks before simply adding more memory. CreeperPanel’s diagnostic tools help identify where lag is coming from, so you can fix the noisy build rather than guess.

Keep the server and player clients on the same pack release, including the matching Forge build. Version mismatches are a common cause of failed joins and confusing missing-mod messages.

Why Run It with CreeperHost?

Our hybrid VPS platform gives modded Minecraft native CPU performance without asking someone in your group to become the full-time server keeper. The network includes DDoS protection, helping your challenge stay reachable when public servers attract the wrong sort of attention.

You also get support from people with more than 13 years of experience hosting modded communities. When an old Forge pack behaves strangely, real CreeperHost staff understand the difference between “needs more RAM” and “someone built a pipe-based apocalypse.”

Got questions?

Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.

CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.

Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
