Host your PokeCraft server

Host PokeCraft as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group a world where Pixelmon adventures and classic 1.7.10 technology can keep running between play sessions.

  • Stay online: a home-hosted world disappears when its owner logs off or reboots.
  • Handle long-term growth: explored chunks, machines, storage networks, and loaded areas can overwhelm casual hosting.
  • Install cleanly: CreeperPanel handles modpack installation and preserves your configuration changes during supported updates.
  • Choose Premium for busy worlds: stronger CPU performance is a sensible starting point for active groups and lasting automation.
  • Get modded help: our team has hosted modded Minecraft communities for over 13 years.

PokeCraft at a Glance

PokeCraft combines Pixelmon with a compact selection of established Forge technology and exploration mods. It runs on Minecraft 1.7.10 with Forge, giving it the feel of a classic modded server rather than a modern kitchen-sink pack.

Applied Energistics 2 supports organised storage, while Ender IO, Thermal Expansion, MineFactory Reloaded, and Extra Utilities provide plenty of machinery to build around. Tinkers’ Construct adds another route for equipment, and JourneyMap helps players make sense of an expanding shared world.

The result works well for groups that want creature-focused adventures without abandoning factories, item networks, and ambitious bases.

A World Built by the Whole Group

A hosted PokeCraft server lets different play styles feed into the same world. Explorers can range out across the map, builders can establish shared towns, and technically minded players can develop processing and storage systems back at base.

That mix also gives the server room to grow. Early sessions may focus on travelling and gathering materials; later play commonly shifts towards larger bases, automated production, and more complex item movement. Keeping the world online means nobody has to wait for one particular player to launch a local save.

Shared backups are worth keeping before major configuration changes or pack updates, especially with an older Forge release.

Hosting Considerations for PokeCraft

PokeCraft has only 30 listed mods, but mod count alone does not determine server demand. Pixelmon activity, newly generated terrain, automated machines, storage networks, and chunk-loading tools can all add work as the world develops.

CPU speed usually matters most when several players explore at once or when bases contain many active machines. Memory needs tend to rise with player activity and world growth rather than simply because the pack is running. For a small, careful group, requirements may remain moderate; a busy community with permanent automation benefits from more headroom.

We generally recommend the Premium range for a PokeCraft world intended to run long term. It leaves more room for busy bases and exploration without treating every slowdown as a reason to restart.

Keep client and server mod versions aligned. Minecraft 1.7.10 packs are less forgiving of mismatched files, and old Java-era mods may behave badly when individual components are changed without testing.

Why Run PokeCraft with CreeperHost?

Our hybrid VPS platform uses modern Ryzen, EPYC, and Intel Ultra hardware selected for modded Minecraft’s CPU-heavy moments.

If performance changes as your world grows, CreeperPanel includes tools for investigating lag rather than leaving you to guess. On eligible Premium services, Ask Theo can inspect current server and panel state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for your approval. Real CreeperHost staff remain available when an old Forge pack decides to get properly strange.

Got questions?

Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.

CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.

Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
