Your xBPacked server, with the useful bits included.

Host your xBPacked server

Host xBPacked as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group an always-on base for shared factories, exploration, and the occasional machine room nobody remembers building.

  • Install the pack in one click, without assembling an old Forge server by hand.
  • Keep configuration changes during updates, rather than rebuilding your setup each time.
  • Avoid relying on one player’s PC, home connection, and sleep schedule.
  • Handle growing automation better than a casual server running alongside other apps.
  • Use built-in lag diagnostics when machines, dimensions, or exploration start biting into tick time.

What to Expect from xBPacked

xBPacked is a relatively compact technology-led pack with 78 mods for Minecraft 1.8.9 and Forge 11.15.1.1890. It brings together recognisable machinery from IndustrialCraft 2, BuildCraft, Immersive Engineering, PneumaticCraft, RFTools, and Progressive Automation.

There is more than factory work here. Tinkers’ Construct expands toolmaking, Blood Magic and Psi add less mechanical pursuits, while Biomes O’ Plenty and Roguelike Dungeons give players reasons to leave the workshop. Storage Drawers, ComputerCraft, Chisel, and Chisels & Bits help turn a functional base into something clever—or gloriously overengineered.

CreeperPanel makes installing and managing the pack straightforward, including GUI-based access to mods and configuration files.

Hosting Considerations for xBPacked

Although xBPacked is lighter than many modern kitchen-sink packs, mod count alone does not decide server performance. Technology packs tend to become busier over time as players add machines, pipes, storage networks, farms, and automated processing.

Plan for the World You Will Build

A fresh server with a small group will usually be modest. Later, large factories and constantly active systems can put more pressure on the main server tick. Extra dimensions and rapid exploration may also cause short spikes while terrain generates.

Memory matters, but processor performance is often just as important. Avoid assigning excessive memory simply because it is available; oversized Java heaps can make garbage collection pauses more noticeable. For a busy or long-running world, we would generally steer you towards our Premium range.

Keep these habits in mind:

  • Match the exact pack and Forge versions across the server and every player.
  • Back up the world before changing mods or important configurations.
  • Limit permanently active automation where it adds little value.
  • Use a sensible world border if your group explores aggressively.
  • Investigate recurring lag before adding more memory blindly.

Older modded versions can also be less forgiving of mismatched files. Change one thing at a time, then test it before inviting everyone back in.

Why Run xBPacked with CreeperHost?

Our hybrid VPS platform delivers native CPU performance, which matters when a shared factory grows far beyond the starter base.

CreeperPanel includes tools for finding common lag sources instead of leaving you to guess. On eligible Premium and Pro services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain what looks wrong, and prepare safe next steps for your approval.

When the pack does something properly strange, you can also reach real support staff backed by more than 13 years of hosting modded Minecraft communities.

Got questions?

Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.

CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.

Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
