A Quest-Led Skyblock Journey
The pack uses Garden of Glass world generation for its sky-based starting point. Ex Nihilo provides the route to essential ores, turning resource gathering into a progression challenge rather than a conventional mining expedition. The HQM quest book guides advancement, helping players work through the pack’s systems and objectives.
The central island can grow from a modest beginning into a much larger project. RF Tools Dimensions adds the possibility of creating additional dimensions, giving exploration and expansion a place alongside the main skyblock progression.
Progression Through Technology
Complecks' Sky combines early-game tools, automation, storage, magic, and advanced technology. Tinkers’ Construct supports tool development near the start of the journey, while mods such as Applied Energistics 2, Ender IO, Thermal Expansion, MineFactory Reloaded, and Storage Drawers provide several ways to organise items and develop production systems.
Botania and Blood Magic add distinct magical paths, while Big Reactors, Solar Flux, Simply Jetpacks, and Draconic Evolution support later-stage technological progress. The pack’s progression moves from rebuilding a fragile island toward powerful equipment and ambitious projects.
Exploration and Combat
The world is not without danger. Special Mobs and Infernal Mobs add more threatening encounters, making travel and expansion more hazardous. Twilight Forest offers a separate area to explore, while Chance Cubes and Loot Bags add unpredictable rewards to the wider adventure.
Inventory Tweaks, Waila, Not Enough Items, and related utility mods help with item management and information while exploring the pack’s systems. CompactStorage and Storage Drawers also provide practical options as the island develops.
