Host your ForgeCraft: The Modpack server

Host ForgeCraft: The Modpack as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group a shared 1.7.10 world for automation, magic, exploration, and ambitious builds—without leaving someone’s PC running all weekend.

  • One-click installation gets the correct Forge pack onto your server quickly.
  • Updates preserve your configuration changes instead of casually overwriting them.
  • Large automation networks can overwhelm spare PCs as worlds mature.
  • Exploration and extra dimensions make home connections a poor long-term fit.
  • Premium is our recommended range for established, always-on worlds.

A Classic Mixed Modpack

ForgeCraft: The Modpack brings together 88 mods on Minecraft 1.7.10 with Forge 10.13.4.1492. It covers several major strands of classic modded Minecraft, giving players plenty of reasons to specialise, trade, and combine their builds.

Applied Energistics 2, Thermal Expansion, Ender IO, BuildCraft, and Immersive Engineering support increasingly complex technology and storage. Thaumcraft, Blood Magic, Botania, Witchery, and Mystcraft add magical progression and exploration. Forestry, AgriCraft, Tinkers’ Construct, Railcraft, and ComputerCraft leave plenty of room for farms, transport systems, tools, and programmable contraptions.

That breadth works particularly well in multiplayer: one player can disappear into research while another quietly turns the base into a pipe-filled machine room.

Hosting Considerations for ForgeCraft: The Modpack

Minecraft 1.7.10 packs are older, but that does not automatically make them lightweight. ForgeCraft combines automation, storage networks, machinery, magic systems, world generation, and additional dimensions. The server’s demands commonly rise as players build more and travel further.

  • Prioritise CPU speed. Busy machine networks and ticking blocks often depend heavily on strong single-core performance.
  • Allow sensible memory headroom. Too little memory causes pauses and instability, while assigning excessive memory can make garbage collection less predictable.
  • Match every version. Clients and the server should use the same pack, Forge build, mods, and configurations. Older packs are particularly unforgiving of casual file swapping.
  • Watch loaded areas. Farms, factories, storage systems, and permanently loaded builds continue doing work even when nobody is standing nearby.
  • Plan exploration. New terrain and Mystcraft dimensions can create noticeable bursts of server activity, especially when several players explore simultaneously.

A fresh world for a small group may start modestly. Once bases fill with machines and cross-dimensional projects, moving to Premium usually gives the server more breathing room. Regular world backups are also worth keeping before mod, configuration, or dimension changes.

Why Run It with CreeperHost?

Our Hybrid VPS platform delivers native CPU performance on hardware chosen for modded Minecraft, which matters when old Forge code meets a busy late-game base.

CreeperPanel includes tools for finding lag sources and managing mods or configurations without turning every adjustment into an FTP expedition. On eligible Premium and Pro services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain likely problems, and prepare safe next steps for you to approve.

When something genuinely odd happens, our support team brings more than 13 years of experience hosting modded communities. Classic packs have character; we know how to handle the less charming parts too.

Got questions?

Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.

CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.

Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
