A Compact Pack with Teeth
Running Red II is a focused Minecraft 1.7.10 adventure built from 34 mods. Its mix of hardcore combat, exploration, magic, and technology gives players plenty to pursue without the sprawl of a giant kitchen-sink pack.
Blood Magic, Sanguimancy, and Witchery shape its darker magical side. Applied Energistics 2, BuildCraft, Ender IO, Railcraft, and Steve’s Factory Manager support increasingly ambitious bases, while Tinkers’ Construct broadens equipment choices. Deadly World, Special Mobs, and Ender Zoo help ensure that leaving the safety of your base remains a meaningful decision.
CreeperPanel installs the pack for you, while GUI-based mod and configuration controls make later adjustments less painful. Available pack updates can also preserve your configuration changes.
Hosting Considerations for Running Red II: Vampire Money
Keep the Legacy Setup Intact
This pack uses Minecraft 1.7.10 and Forge 10.13.2.1272. Legacy packs commonly depend on very specific combinations of loader, mods, libraries, and Java runtime. Replacing individual files casually or forcing a newer runtime can cause startup failures and harder-to-read crashes.
Back up the world before changing mods or configuration files, and test changes before inviting everyone back. Older packs often reward restraint: if the server works, avoid “upgrading” random components just because a newer file exists.
Plan for the World Your Players Build
The pack is relatively compact, so a small group may not need an enormous memory allocation. Server demand commonly rises as players explore new terrain, collect loaded machines, expand transport systems, and create more complex automation.
New chunk generation can produce short CPU spikes. Mob-heavy areas and large networks of pipes, machines, storage, or factory logic can also increase tick time. Encourage players to remove abandoned machines and avoid leaving unnecessary areas loaded.
Premium is our usual recommendation for an active group or a world expected to run for months. It leaves more room for exploration and developed bases without treating the pack’s modest starting size as its permanent ceiling.
Why Run It with CreeperHost?
Our hybrid VPS platform delivers native CPU performance on hardware chosen for modded Minecraft, helping when combat, chunk generation, and automation compete for tick time.
CreeperPanel includes diagnostics for finding lag sources. On eligible Premium and Pro services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain what looks wrong, and prepare safe next steps for your approval.
We have hosted modded communities for over 13 years, and real support staff are available when a vintage Forge pack decides to behave like one.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
