Pack availability

Host InfiTech 2 as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group a permanent workshop for its demanding GregTech progression, sprawling automation, and occasional magical detours.
- Quick setup: Install the pack through CreeperPanel without assembling an old Forge stack by hand.
- Safer updates: Pack updates preserve your configuration changes.
- No home-PC babysitting: Progress continues without leaving one player’s machine running.
- Better under load: Casual hosting can falter as machines, pipes, and loaded chunks accumulate.
- Premium recommended: Its stronger hardware is the better starting point for a long-running world.
Inside InfiTech 2
InfiTech 2 is a hard-mode technology pack for Minecraft 1.7.10, built around GregTech and backed by quests, magic, exploration, and extensive factory building. It contains 82 mods running on Forge 10.13.4.1614.
Applied Energistics 2 supports large storage networks, while BuildCraft, Ender IO, Logistics Pipes, PneumaticCraft, and OpenComputers provide plenty of ways to move, process, and control things. Forestry and Gendustry add another substantial production branch. Thaumcraft and its integrations keep the world from becoming entirely pipes, cables, and stern-looking machines.
This is a pack for a committed group rather than a quick weekend world. A shared server lets different players specialise while keeping every part of the project accessible.
Hosting Considerations for InfiTech 2
Older Forge packs often care more about strong per-core CPU performance than impressive-looking core counts. Memory still matters, but adding RAM alone will not cure slow ticks caused by oversized machine networks, excessive item movement, or too many active chunks. Our Premium range is the sensible default for this kind of server.
World age matters too. Early play may feel modest, then factories expand, Applied Energistics networks grow, and automation continues across more areas. ChickenChunks can keep machinery active when players leave, which is useful but worth controlling. Limit chunk loading to systems that genuinely need it rather than keeping every outpost awake.
Exploration can produce short load spikes while new terrain generates. Groups should avoid scattering rapidly in different directions during already busy periods. Regular restarts can also help older Java servers clear out accumulated memory pressure, although restart frequency should follow how your particular world behaves.
Configuration changes deserve care. In a tightly connected progression pack, seemingly small recipe or mod changes can affect much more than their immediate target. Back up the world before updates, test substantial adjustments, and avoid casually replacing library versions.
Why Run It with CreeperHost?
Our hybrid VPS platform delivers the native CPU performance that heavily automated 1.7.10 worlds commonly need. CreeperPanel’s built-in diagnostics help identify slow ticks and troublesome areas instead of leaving you to guess.
On eligible Premium services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for your approval. When the problem is properly strange, our support team brings more than 13 years of hands-on modded Minecraft experience to the conversation.
