A Broad Modded Adventure
lilcraft is a 76-mod Forge pack for Minecraft 1.10.2, mixing technology, magic, exploration, combat, and large-scale building. It gives players several progression paths rather than pushing the whole server down one quest line.
Applied Energistics 2 supports organised storage networks, while Ender IO, Thermal Expansion, Immersive Engineering, IndustrialCraft 2, and Extreme Reactors offer different approaches to machinery and power. Blood Magic, Botania, Ars Magica 2, and Psi cover the less mechanical side of progression.
Roguelike Dungeons adds reasons to travel and fight, while Tinkers’ Construct, Chisels & Bits, Forestry, and Railcraft give builders and engineers plenty to keep developing between adventures.
Hosting Considerations for lilcraft
Plan for growth, not only launch day
With 76 mods, lilcraft is not enormous by modern pack standards, but mature worlds commonly demand more than fresh ones. Storage networks, item transport, farms, machines, and loaded chunks can all add steady server work as players spread out.
Memory matters, though throwing RAM at every slowdown is rarely the full answer. Modded Minecraft also depends heavily on fast CPU performance, particularly when players generate terrain or maintain busy automated bases. Premium is the sensible starting point for groups expecting regular play, extensive machinery, or a world kept for months.
Keep machines and chunks under control
Players can help performance by avoiding permanently loaded areas full of idle machines, loose items, or oversized transport networks. Building several complicated bases in the same chunk area may also produce sharper tick-time spikes than spreading projects sensibly.
Older Forge packs can be particular about Java versions, mod changes, and configuration files. Make backups before altering the pack, and test significant changes before inviting everyone back. If lag appears, measure first: check tick timings, loaded chunks, and problem areas rather than removing mods at random. That usually finds the real culprit faster and causes fewer broken recipes or missing blocks.
