Your Steel Horizon server, with the useful bits included.
Host your Steel Horizon server
Steel Horizon is a lightweight Minecraft modpack for CreeperHost hosting, built around immersive railway gameplay on Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge. It keeps the familiar feel of vanilla Minecraft while adding tools for building detailed rail networks, industrial areas, stations, depots, towns, and long-distance transport routes.
Railway Building and Transport
Steel Horizon places railways at the centre of the experience. Immersive Railroading, TrackAPI, Immersive Vehicles, and related supporting mods provide a foundation for creating connected transport systems across the world. Players can plan routes with JourneyMap, shape areas with WorldEdit, and use World Pregenerator support to prepare terrain around expanding railway projects.
The pack is well suited to careful construction, whether you are laying a short local line or connecting distant settlements with a larger network. Railway projects can become part of the wider landscape, with stations, industrial sites, roads, and towns built around them.
Industry, Building, and Exploration
The technology side of Steel Horizon includes Immersive Engineering and Immersive Petroleum, adding an industrial theme that complements railway construction. Immersive Furniture, ManyIdeasDoors, sign packs, and decorative additions help give stations, workshops, depots, and towns more character.
Outside the transport systems, the pack retains familiar Minecraft activities while adding selected enhancements. Farmer’s Delight supports expanded food and farming options, while Easy Villagers provides additional convenience when working with village inhabitants. Exploration remains an important part of finding places to connect and developing new routes.
Lightweight Features and Tools
Steel Horizon is built as a small, focused pack rather than a large collection of unrelated content. Optimization and utility mods such as Embeddium, FerriteCore, Lithium, ModernFix, and ThreadTweak are included alongside recipe viewing, configuration, mapping, and building tools.
CreeperPanel provides one-click modpack installation and updates while preserving configuration changes. Built-in tools can help manage files, mods, settings, players, inventories, worlds, and backups, while diagnostic features assist with investigating lag.
CreeperHost Server Support
CreeperHost uses game-server hardware selected for strong native CPU performance and stability, supporting modded worlds with active building and travel. DDoS protection and location choice are included, and real support staff bring experience hosting modded communities since 2011.
Eligible Premium and Pro services can also use Ask Theo to inspect the current panel state and prepare safe next steps for approval. This provides an additional way to review server settings while keeping changes under your control.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
