Your MCEF CRAFT server, with the useful bits included.
Host your MCEF CRAFT server
Host MCEF CRAFT as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group an always-on kingdom to build, defend, and occasionally demolish through enthusiastic swordplay.
- One-click installation gets the Forge pack running without manual file wrangling.
- Premium is our recommended range for a growing, long-running colony.
- Home hosting can falter as colonies, NPCs, and loaded chunks accumulate.
- Casual shared hosting may struggle when exploration and combat hit the CPU together.
- Updates preserve your configuration changes, avoiding needless setup repeats.
Build Together, Fight Differently
MCEF CRAFT combines settlement management with action-focused combat on Minecraft 1.20.1 and Forge 47.4.10. Its 226 mods centre on MineColonies and Epic Fight, with compatibility additions tying those two sides together.
Your group can divide its attention between colony construction, supply chains, exploration, and more involved battles. BetterEnd, Deeper and Darker, Born in Chaos, and upgraded dungeons, mineshafts, and strongholds broaden the places and threats you can encounter.
That mix works particularly well on a permanent server. Builders can keep the settlement moving while explorers hunt farther afield, and everyone has somewhere established to return to.
Hosting Considerations for MCEF CRAFT
Colony growth changes the load
MineColonies servers commonly become more demanding over time. A young settlement is relatively quiet; an established colony may have many citizens navigating, working, and checking nearby blocks. Several active colonies can increase tick pressure further, especially when players spread them across the world.
Keep colonies sensibly spaced, avoid permanently loading areas without a reason, and watch server timings as settlements expand. Premium plans offer the stronger starting point we would choose for an active group intending to play for the long haul.
Exploration and combat need headroom
Generating new terrain and structures can cause short bursts of CPU and memory use. These are often most noticeable when several players travel in different directions while colony simulation continues elsewhere. Pre-generating the area around your main settlement can reduce exploration stutters later.
Epic Fight also makes steady server ticks more noticeable during busy encounters. If combat begins feeling delayed, check tick health before blaming player connections.
Memory needs will vary with world age, player activity, and loaded regions. Leave some headroom rather than assigning every available gigabyte to Java. Take a backup before pack updates or substantial configuration changes, and restart periodically rather than waiting for an overworked server to become grumpy.
Why Run It with CreeperHost?
Our hybrid VPS platform gives modded Minecraft strong native CPU performance, which matters when colony AI, world generation, and combat all want attention at once.
CreeperPanel includes tools for investigating lag instead of leaving you to guess which area, entity, or task is holding up the server. On eligible Premium services, Ask Theo can inspect the current panel and server state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for your approval.
When the problem needs a person, our team brings more than 13 years of experience hosting modded communities—and we know a MineColonies server rarely stays “small” for long.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
