Your SCP Beyond Containment server, with the useful bits included.
Host your SCP Beyond Containment server
Host SCP Beyond Containment as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group an always-on world of abandoned facilities, hostile entities, armed expeditions, and poor decisions made in dark corridors.
- Install the full Forge pack in a few clicks, without assembling 152 mods by hand.
- Keep your own config changes when supported modpack updates are installed.
- Avoid tying the world to one player’s PC, connection, and free time.
- Leave more room for exploration and entity activity than casual hosting commonly offers.
- Start with Premium for a longer-running group world and steadier modded performance.
An SCP World Built for Group Survival
SCP Beyond Containment is a hard, horror-led exploration pack for Minecraft 1.20.1 using Forge 47.4.10. Its 152 mods turn survival into a tense search through ruined facilities, remote terrain, and structures where an encounter can derail the whole trip.
Recognisable additions include SCP Facility, SecurityCraft, Immersive Vehicles, Naturalist, firearms mods, and a sizeable collection of hostile creatures. The result is broader than a single facility map: players can explore, gather equipment, fortify a base, and investigate together while the world keeps producing new threats.
It works particularly well with a regular group, especially when nobody can be trusted not to stare directly at the alarming thing.
Keep the World Ready Between Sessions
Horror packs lose some of their edge when the world only exists while the host is online. A permanent server lets players maintain shared shelters, prepare equipment, and resume expeditions without waiting for one person to launch Minecraft and forward ports.
CreeperPanel gives you GUI-based access to mods and configuration files, so changing pack settings does not require digging through the server over FTP. One-click pack updates preserve your configuration changes where possible, which is useful when you have tuned difficulty or other server rules for your group.
World and player-management tools also help when an expedition ends with somebody stranded, stuck, or missing equipment under highly suspicious circumstances.
Hosting Considerations for SCP Beyond Containment
With 152 Forge mods, this is a moderately heavy pack rather than a near-vanilla server. Premium is our recommended starting range, particularly for groups that plan to keep one world running and explore widely.
Memory demand commonly rises during startup and while loading new areas. World generation can also cause short tick-time spikes when several players travel in different directions, so spreading out in vehicles may be noticeably harder on the server than moving as one group. A fast modern CPU matters as much as simply adding more memory.
Large numbers of active creatures, dropped items, traps, and projectiles can gradually affect tick rate around busy bases or frequently visited facilities. Regular restarts and sensible cleanup habits usually help. Pre-generating the area your group expects to use can also reduce generation stutters during live play.
Before changing pack versions, take a backup and check that every player is using the matching build. Forge servers are rarely impressed by “it was probably close enough.”
Why Run It with CreeperHost?
Our hybrid VPS platform uses modern Ryzen, EPYC, and Intel Ultra hardware chosen with modded Minecraft in mind.
Built-in diagnostics help identify whether lag is coming from entities, chunks, or another server-side problem. On eligible Premium and Pro plans, Ask Theo can inspect the current panel and server state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for your approval. If things remain strange, our support team brings more than 13 years of modded hosting experience to the investigation.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
