Under Fire Overview
Under Fire is a hardcore tactical survival pack for Minecraft 1.20.1, built on Forge 47.4.10. Instead of relying on Minecraft’s usual hostile mobs, it fills the world with armed soldiers capable of fighting players and one another.
Its roughly 50 mods include recognisable combat additions such as TACZ, Superb Warfare, Simple Enemy, and HBM Modernized. Expect gunfire, mortars, vehicles, breaching, drones, and battles that may erupt without waiting for your squad to arrive.

Hosting Considerations for Under Fire
Under Fire is not an enormous kitchen-sink pack, but mod count alone does not determine server demand. Active soldier AI, moving vehicles, projectiles, and repeated explosions commonly put more pressure on Minecraft’s main server thread than quieter building-focused gameplay.
Strong single-thread CPU performance matters most when several fights are happening at once. Memory should leave Forge and the mod set comfortable without assigning an excessive amount, as more RAM does not automatically cure low tick rate. Premium is the sensible starting point for an active squad or a world expected to run continuously.
Large battles can also create short tick spikes, particularly when AI groups engage each other around loaded player areas.
